Very nice atmosphere Mr . Rohit on reception very nice . food was delicious staff is gentle highly recommended place I am very much happy with stay very comfortable room 😊 cab facility available free 

Nice hotel, staff is cooprative, for helicopter it is very near. They have cab for visiting and Helipad. Nice food. It seems to be two star hotels. Room service is good. View is also good from my window. It is good for 1 or 2 days. Every taxi driver know this HOTEL and it is approachable from the market. I give 3 star for this

the hotel and the rooms are very neat & clean, the rooms are quite big in size and neat linens are provided. the breakfast in the restaurant was very tasty  & soothing. the hotel provides a complimentary shuttle for Yatra & Railway station drop. Location very near to the railway station very silent place. The management especially the GM Shri Bhupender Ji is a very cordial and nice person to help everyone in his capacity. the small shop adjacent to the hotel premises sells quite good stuff for ladies like Kurtis, shawls and other items prices were nice & reasonable. Would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone. Keep it up!!

Our on the go stay during our visit to Maa Vaishno Devi temple. Hotel was extremely cordial to accept our check in at 5AM instead of 12PM. Room was neat and basic. Clean bed, hot geyser water and a nice sleep before we went for darshan. 
We had bread butter, tea and noodle with pakoras for dinner. Good food!

Overall nothing fancy but a good satisfying stay with darshan being the primary objective 
PS. Free drop to helipad and railway station also. 

I had a pleasant stay at Hotel Maa Gayatri, Katra. The rooms were comfortable, and our mountain view room offered a clear sight of Maa Vaishno Bhawan, which was truly special. The hotel's location is convenient, close to the Helipad drop point and just a short walk from the main market.

The food was good, though the menu options were a bit limited. The complimentary buffet breakfast was simple yet sufficient to fuel our journey to the Bhawan.

Overall, this hotel is a great budget-friendly option for those visiting Katra. Comfortable rooms, good food, and a prime location make it worth considering for your stay.

We had Visited Katra from Jan 14th to 16th,2020. We were Family of 3 and we stayed at Hotel Maa Gayatri for 2Nights. Its hardly 5mins walk from Katra Railway station. Decent hotel, good and helpful staff and food was also really good.

 If you require heater they do provide at an additional cost but it needs to be informed to them well in advance. 

They provide Complimentary Pick up and drop till Banganga.  After coming from Vaishnodevi Darshan we requested the Hotel staff if they provide Body Massage immediately they arranged for the same. (Additional Cost needs to be Paid).

Restaurant  Staff and Food is very nice.  They serve hot food and tasty food.

Staff at the Reception are also helpful.

No issue's at the Checkout also. Smooth processing.

Note  : Kindly try to provide more cleaner bedsheet's that's the Only thing we felt. Rest all was  great.

The hotel situated at approx 500 meters from Katra Rail station, this is a low range hotel for transit journey, so don't expect any luxury however hotel was clean but linen used there was bellow expectation looking like heavily used so reccomend for one night stay only....

Excellent service...nice rooms...quick response. Near to Katra railway station.cab drop at banganga and at railway station as complimentary..non AC rooms were enough as the weather is cold outside...hotwater available as as well as restaurant

I was initially hesitant  to visit Jammu because of the tension between India and Pakistan 
Then I spoke with porvik Gupta the owner of the hotel and re assured us that everything is fine and there is nothing to worry 
Thus we made up are minds and finally came to the hotel and as expected the rooms were clean 24 hours running hot water ,very courteous staff ,quick room service
They have their own restaurant -Breakfast was very good ,lunch was ok 
Thus if you are coming to Katra then hotel maa Gayatri is the place to stay


We booked this hotel for a night stay while on our visit to the Vaishno Devi shrine. This is relatively newly constructed hotel and the rooms are spacious and clean. We had a great impression the time we deboarded our train as the hotel provided complimentary pick up from the station.  We were given early check in which was really helpful as were traveling with little kids. Rooms had all the amenities,  the bed was pretty comfortable and the washroom was too clean. 

Front office desk was quite helpful and amicable. The only area that needs work done is the restaurant.. Food served could have been better. We ate lunch at the hotel and the dishes served weren't up to the mark. Breakfast was complimentary but wish the spread could have been better. 

Overall a nice stay and would really wish management on making our stay comfortable. 

Will surely visit again.
