Its a good place , nice rooms . Food is good too. 
Good buffet spread. 
When we visited it was peak season and the hotel was packed . They had tons of check ins in check outs and due to that their house keeping services were really slow. But when reminded again we got immediate service. 
Very close to gondola start point . 
Market is 1.2 km away

The service by the staff and management of hilltop was extra ordinaryly good . It was par beyond our expectations, the hospitality right from reception desk to dining area was great. All thanks to Aabia and Feroz afreena and also to each and every staff for making our stay memorable.

Outstanding and Memorable stay.Right from the check point of check in Ishfaq was extremely helpful. He up graded us to two rooms with heavely view.
Special mention must be made of Mr.Aijaz FOM also at the reception team for his personal touch and numerous glasses of 'Kava' offered to my son who had caught a bad cold.
The behaviour of the staff at the hilltop just steals the show.  Indeed our Gulmarg visit was made memorable by all of them put together. A special thank you to the General Manager and The Assistant General Manager for their personalised hospitality and touch. A definite recomendation just for the stay.
It would not be out of context to mention the location which in my opinion is the best, coupled with amazing food.
