Excellent homestay, the family was so wonderful and nice ! They cooked us breakfast and it was wonderful. I would come back again. They just started construction on their house but it did not bother us one bit, it started at a reasonable hour and ended at a reasonable hour, never bothered us once.

First time in kochi

We enjoyed our stay in Calvins Inn. We stayed 4 nights. The breakfast was amazing. The place is based in a quiet area. The ‘centre’ is walking distance. The people took really good care of us.

Lovely homestay

My partner and I spent New Years here in 2017. We stayed for 3 night. Calvin was a lovely & very helpful host. The room was basic though very clean. Perfect for what we required. It's in an excellent spot to see Fort Kochi. We really enjoyed our stay - the Keralan breakfasts were outstanding & still some of the best food we've had in India. 

Lovely warm Homestay 

Certainly a very available and welcoming family, the small rooms with ceiling fans with no air conditioning, very warm, windows open with noises and no fuss, bathroom in the usual way, but no hot water. So even on our last night in India, sleepless.

Very noisy.

Family apartments that are in excellent condition. Personnel available for any clarification or problem: Nikita, Ocean and Andria are great! The apartment has 4 bedrooms with bathroom, living room and two bedrooms. The typical Indian breakfast is on offer. One of the best residences in Cochin. I will definitely return with great pleasure.

My vacation in Fort Cochin

We stayed here for a week and it was a lovely homestay. Calvin and his family are very welcoming and the room was very comfortable. There was a fan and a large bathroom with a really good shower. 

We also got breakfast every morning which ranged from traditional Keralan food to omlettes and toast, with a cup of chai. I wasnt a massive fan of the local breakfast just because I don't like spice but everything else was great. 

The WiFi was also the best we've come across in India, although they do turn it off randomly so we had to ask for it to be turned back on a couple of times. 

The only problem with the room was that its very close to the road, and so every morning at about 7am you could hear the dogs and birds like they were in the room. Someone also likes to rev their motorbike for a solid 10 minutes every morning which isn't the best, especially if you're a light sleeper. 

Apart from that I would thoroughly recommended this hostel. The location is also great and a very short walk to the beach, markets and a lot of nice restaurants! 

We've been here for three nights and paid 1500rs for this service. It's super clean. Friendly homeowners who answer every question. The price includes even a rich breakfast. The location is also optimal. They could stay in the room even on the last day instead of noon until 10pm, no extra charge.

It's pricey and warm.

Pretty rooms with full bathrooms in the home of a lovely family.  Wifi is good.  Windows are screened against mosquitos. There isn't any hot water though.  

I was able to hand wash laundry and the family was kind enough to bring my clothes in off the line when the tweet dry.  

Breakfasts were amazing!  South Indian food: dosa, idly, steam cake..... Mmmm

Centrally located.  Close to buses, shops and the seawall.  There's a really good restaurant nearby called Roti.  Have the mixed veg and paneer Kati roll with green sauce!! 

Wonderful homestay 

I paid Rs400 for one night, which included breakfast, water & I got to print my boarding pass also. Very nice, clean room and the people running it are very friendly and helpful - I was recommended where to go for cheaper restaurants. Very close to the beach front, only 5mins walk. Overall a great experience!
