The best hotel with great facilities and incredibly low prices and even best service, and staff was super cooperative and very kind here, helped us whenever it was needed, rooms were amazing and hygienic.

Amazing

ideal location, spacious rooms, well furnished, value for money, swimming pool, sufficient parking, approachable. great variety on menu and reasonably priced. will definitely like to repeat visit. Highly recommended

Vintage feeling

We were hesitant to book Yamuna view initially as we were doing it online , even when we called to confirm our reservation the guy on the phone seemed grumpy.Once we reached the hotel we came to know its an old ashok property and maybe some "sarkari "touch was leftover. The check in was smooth , the rooms were decent with comfortable beds and clean toilets. The dinner they served in the restaurant was really very nice and the guys there went all out in terms of service.The best part of the hotel though was the pool, large and clean water , really enjoyed the swimming.Break fast was decent enough , the guys looked after us well.Overall a good option in the city of TAJ.

Hotel Yamuna view is a good option in Agra

This hotel earlier known as Hotel Ashok is a good hotel in mid range near to Taj.The hotel is located on MALL road which is a good location. It is about 2 km from Agra Fort Railway station and also 2.5 km from Taj. The reception area is really well decorated and gives the feel of a premium hotel. I was allotted the room on the ground floor with a view of the swimming pool which was really good. The rooms are decent with all necessary amenities. However, I missed the heater as the temperature in Agra is very cool, below 7 degree celcius. So this was a negative point.
Regarding food, it was good and tasty and not too much expensive.
Overall a nice hotel and recommended to stay in mid range 2000 to 4000 Indian rupees.

Good hotel located near to TAJ

This is an excellent hotel. Location is great. Rooms are excellent. I paid Rs 3000 per day for double occupancy including breakfast and dinner. The rate may vary depending on the season. It has an excellent courtyard with a swimming pool. Parking area is small. Breakfast spread is not so good. A la carte dinner is nice. Staffs are decent. Not all the rooms are similar.

nice hotel

The rooms are big, airy, mostly well-furnished and afford a very beckoning pool view. The rooms seem mostly well-furnished as is the bathroom. However, the bathroom, which is built beautifully, all glass, chrome and marble, has a bathtub but doesn't have hot water provision! When I reached at night and wanted a bath, I was informed that hot water is made available ONLY in the mornings, and that too ONLY on special request. So, I had to make do with heating water in the electric kettle to wash off the grime and dirt of my extensive travels!
To add to misery, the TV has no channels available to view. 
When I asked for tea biscuits, some mediocre, hard biscuits were served, for which I was charged 500 bucks!!! 500 bucks for mediocre, hard, lumpy 6 pieces of biscuit, not even the whole packet!!
The bed, the air conditioning seemed nice and as I sank into the bed, huge booming sounds started. Through the windows, I saw that the poolside had been let out to a birthday party of shrieking kids and hip-swinging parents. It went on until 1:30 am in the might, completely spoiling my sleep. Repeated requests to the manager to get the noise lowered had NO effect. 

Next day, the breakfast seemed slightly below average - stiff puris with bland and low on salt bhaaji. Maybe, I was cranky because of poor sleep.

All in all, the beautiful decor, the pretty pool, the well-furnished lobby had built up expectations that were sadly and cruelly dashed by the poor service at the hotel
