Óbester Panzió

Just spent three nights at Obester. The place is beautiful with a stunning view and a fantastic atmosphere. 

The place has a very special atmosphere, peaceful yet lively and very including and welcoming. The owners are of course very important in this as they do everything they can to make your stay as good as possible. 

The rooms are clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. Breakfast is great and having a glass of wine on the porch during the afternoon is the perfect way of spending your vacation. 

We have been to Obester several times and we will most certainly go back!

Spent 2 nights here on a recent trip and enjoyed every moment.  We got the end room upstairs and had a stunning view out of 2 huge windows across the vineyards to the lake.  Hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful - let us print out some tickets and also provided breakfast early for us the day we were leaving.  Breakfast is fantastic.  Gave us directions to some restaurants for dinner in the area, and ended up at great places both nights.  Definitely need a car if you're staying here, as is out of the way, but there's plenty of parking.  Peaceful and quiet, lovely outdoor sitting areas.  BUT beware the mosquitoes - almost got eaten alive unpacking our car the first evening!  They're out in force after dark in summer.  Would love to stay here again.

Set in the middle of a vinyard on the north shore ofclake Balaton. Panzio Obeste is hidden away half way up the hill ( extinct volcano) and away from all the grockels .  With the most beautiful views across the vines to the balaton itvenjoys a 360 panorama that i could sit for days and not get bored with.   Our hosts were accommodating fun and informed and looked after us like family.   The rustic charm of the accommodation and get away from it all location completely offset any small niggles with the facilities

Very nicely done, well maintained with friendly staff! The room with the terrace offers amazing panorama and great privacy! Recommended also for grill dinner at the weekends. However cleaning would be good at least every other day. 

This is one of the most picturesque and beautiful guesthouse I ever stayed at.
The soroundings are magnificent with the view over lake Balaton in front and the impressive rows of wine on the hill at the backside.
The owners are a lovely Swedish couple with the ability to make the guests feel welcome and at home.

If your looking for party and puls, stay away! But if you're into sitting in the sun on the patio with a fantastic bottle of local produced wine looking out over the Balaton, this is THE place!

This place is amazing! Really beautiful view, fantastic service and great design. Lovely wine cellars nearby. One of the best was Nemet pince.The rooms are clean and welcoming. Breakfast is good too. A real chill out atmosphere.  I'll go back!
