The place is very nice and clean, the rooms are cleaned everyday. The breakfast is small, but tasty (pancakes, Greek yogurt and coffee) and it is served every morning near the pool. The hotel is ideal for those who seek relax (there is a jacuzzi) and silence. The position is 12 mins walking from Phyra central bus station, the only issue is the uphill road to get there, but nothing that is not possible (Consider that the whole island is up and downhills!). Evi, the owner, is very nice, kind, patient and ready to help and listen to her guests' needs. You can really see how devoted she is to her job and how much she likes to host. She also gave us a small present before leaving and helped us to move the transfer to the airport since our flight was delayed. I really recommend this place!

Ideal for a week in Santorini

Danae Villas is a beautiful property just outside the main town of Fira. In a largely residential road, it is around a 7 minute walk from the shops and restaurants (be warned of a steep hill!). The property has around 10 rooms. Mine was immaculately clean, with a comfortable bed and useful kitchenette, and opened out straight onto the pool side. The pool area is welcoming, with loungers, chairs and tables. Evi, the host, cannot do enough for you and was always at the end of the phone when I needed her. I would recommend this place to couples and solo travellers who appreciate the quiet but want access to Fira. From Fira, there are hourly buses to all other towns on the island - which is also incredibly useful!

My partner and I have stayed at many places but this one was the best so far. Evi is the best host you could ever want. She is extremely helpful, friendly, professional and nothing is a problem for her. She's always in lovely mood and you will never see her grumpy. Evi recommended us places to visit, trips, restaurants and even ordered a pizza for us when it was raining heavily and we didn't want to leave the villa which was extremely kind of her. The breakfast was tasty,  we could basically request what we wanted and it was definitely worth €8. Evi bakes the most delicious cakes and serves them as part of breakfast. Our room was a good size, spotless when we arrived and cleaned every day. The villa is located about 10 minutes by foot from the city centre but the location around the villa is very peaceful. We really loved our stay and would  100% choose this villa again. Evi is honestly the best.

The best place to stay!!

An absolutely enchanting experience! My husband & I were celebrating our belated 10th Anniversary! We stayed in a Cave pool Villa with a view that was breathtakingly beautiful!  The staff got all our luggage up & down the stairs.  We were treated to the very best of service with all our wishes & whims made to happen.  My favourite moments were of floating dinner overseeing the Aegean & going for breakfast which I recommend getting.  I will never forget my time in Santorini where my romantic dream vacation was made to come true!  Thanks to everyone who made this possible!

Anniversary vacation

A lovely little place to stay. Just out the main hustle and bustle area. About a 10 minute walk to the centre. Clean and tidy. All staff were very helpful and friendly. 
Nice and quiet. Little pool to relax by. 
A great place to stay in Santorini

A great stay.

We have just spent a week in fira Santorini what an amazing island of Greece it is. 
We stayed at the Dana Villas which is about 10 mins walk from the main area of fira.

We arrive at the hotel via transfer which the Hotel Manager / Owner of the Hotel arranged prior to flying over to the Island. 

We researched the area and the found this hotel, and once we booked it the Hotel Manager / Owner Evi was always in contact with us asking if we had any questions etc. Evi met us upon arrival, which was in the early hours. However, she was full of smiles and happy to talk to us whilst we got settled into our room. 

One of the first things Evi said to us was to have some rest and sort checking in the following morning. 
Nothing was too much trouble. The following day I went to the reception, and everything was ever so easy. Evi makes you feel not just like you’re on holiday but part of her family whilst you are staying in the hotel and on the Island. 

Evi is very chatty and always ask if  everything OK etc. 

The rooms are beautiful and really clean. Every day the rooms are cleaned to a very high standard which Evi and her team work very hard from the sun coming up to well after sunset. It’s quiet and you can get a very good night’s sleep. It’s just the perfect location as you are 10 mins walk away from the centre, but just far enough away from all the party nightlife of Fira.

Breakfast - I couldn’t believe at first when Evi ask you what you would like for Breakfast, she asked what you want, rather than this is what you get, nothing is too much trouble, so very welcoming and gives you all the best information of where to visit and recommends restaurants to visit, all of which are very good. 

Evi and her team go out of their way to help and guide you. 

During your stay at Dana Villas Evi makes you one of her family and we will be back in the next year or so to see Evi and her team.

We feel we have made friends with Evi and her team, and we thank them for all they did to make our stay on the island of Santorini all the better.

Santorini - Dana Villas

Wow! If you are considering booking Danae Villa then do it immediately. Evi is an exceptional host, nothing is too much for her and she goes above and beyond to make your stay unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, Evi made us feel as if we were staying with family, helping us with recommendations, trips and generally looking after us. You will not find a better host than her, she puts her heart and soul into running the property and it shows. Her and her team work tirelessly, the accommodation is exceptionally clean and it’s the perfect base to relax and unwind, a real hidden gem. Just a short walk (5-10 mins) up the hill and you are in Fira, close enough to enjoy all of its delights but far enough away to have a quiet nights sleep or relax by the pool after a busy day. 
Evi makes a fabulous breakfast, it was different each time we had it and absolutely delicious with homemade pies, pastries, crepes, pancakes etc. When we arrived, Evi was aware it was our honeymoon and had arranged for us to spend 2 nights in one of her suites. An incredibly generous surprise and so appreciated. The suite was beautiful and the room was huge and really airy. The bed was so comfortable. When we moved down to our standard room it was obviously smaller than the suite but fully equipped with a kitchenette, large bed, good sized bathroom and everything we needed. The bed was, again, very comfortable and the shower was lovely. We had a terrace right by the pool. 
to summarise, our experience from start to finish was magical and we’re definitely going to be coming back. Evi welcomes you into her properly and takes the time to get to know you, the personal touches really do make this property stand out.

Exceptional Place

The price and location of this villa speak for themselves. It’s a short walk from the centre of Fira on a quiet hill. Evy the owner was fantastic she went above and beyond for me on more than one occasion: finding me a taxi when no drivers would pick me up (due to the journey being too short for a decent fair), printing out my PCR results and even finding my lost sunglasses. I can’t speak highly enough of her! The only downside of the place was the WiFi did not stretch to the room and the 3G reception in the area isn’t great so this place might not be suitable for those who are working.

Wonderful host, great value Santorini stay.

The appartment was perfect! It was very spacious, clean and fully equipped.
The villa had a small swimming pool and a jacuzzi I made used of. 
Location wise it is about 10 min walk from Fira. For me it was worthy as it is located in a much quieter (and safe) area and the price difference with the accommodation in the centre is considerable.
The host was fantastic, really. Very welcoming and she even gave me a glass of home made sweet wine and a souvenir on my departure. You can tell she enjoys chatting to her guests and welcoming people. 
She also helped me before I arrived by arranging the airport transfer (price for this service was also lower than what I saw on websites or local taxis) 
I would definitely recommend staying at this apartment.

Much better than expected

Danae Villa is an amazing place to stay if you are looking for a clean, cozy, budget friendly place, excellently located and with all the comfort you could need to have a nice experience in this island.

Evi is an amazing manager who will give you great recommendations for places to visit, to eat, transportation, etc.

I would definitely recommend this place.
