We visited Skiathos for the first time a week ago for our summer holidays. Alypiako's rooms were very comfortable and super clean. We took advantage of the nice pool even though the beach was within walking distance. We very much liked the green surroundings and the cosy atmosphere. The receptionist was very helpful, kind and willing to give us any information about the island generally. We will definitely stay there again.

Great Stay!!!

This was our first visit to Skiathos and we choose Alypiako Apartments for our stay.
The apartment was very clean and beautiful. The Green all around calm you down and u can feel the fresh air in every breath. The swiming pool was amazing, we didnt even bother going to the beach dispite the fact that it is so close even by walking. Congratulations to all the people that helped us have such a great time there. We definatly gonna visit again.

Pure Relaxation

First I would like say how beautiful the place is and it is unfortunate that I had such a poor experience with the owners. When we reserved the booking we told them that we were 2 adult couples (4 people). When we arrived they had made one room for two adults and one child. 

It was a mistake, an odd mistake because there were no other reservations for two adults and one child, but still a mistake which is forgivable. Why they get on star is how they handled their mistake. The only deal they were willing to offer us was for us to PAY for a new room every night. So we would double our budget, and one couple would have to change rooms almost every night. All the while they consistently tried to make this our fault even though we could clearly show them the email with exactly what we order and their confirming reply to this order.

We ended up not buying the extra room and sleeping on two uncomfortable cots in the kitchen (photo). In the kitchen the WiFi did not work and it barely worked in the other room. This did not matter though because it was not even turned on for most of the trip.

On top of all of this, the original deal was for us to pay about 30% up front and the rest after our stay. Half-way through our trip they forced us to pay in full plus a "TOURIST TAX".

After we returned home from the trip we requested a receipt to help with bank statements.  They say "no customer has ever made such a request and it was an embarrassment to them that they have to do this." (not an exact quote because it is translated from Italian)

We liked everything, from the super nice manager Elena, to the very comfortable and perfectly kept property, to the sourronding environment, to the facilities available nearby. Warning: if you prefer the noisy and annoying atmosphere of Skiathos town to the sound of birds or grasshoppers singing, do not chose Alypiako ;)! We will definitively book again if we will ever come back to Skiathos.

Clean, quiet,cosy group of white picturesque bungalows, surrounded by green!!! 
Good quality for price!
A bit far from the beach, around 15-20 minutes walking, but still pleasant to walk through the  (almost) woods!
Minus: no bar or any facility for a coffee or a snack.

We spent a week with our 2 year old kid and we had a great time at a  relaxing accommodation at alypiako!Very clean, friendly people, renovated and spacious rooms! Good location, close to the best beaches of the island by car! We highly recommend it especially for families who need some peace and quiet in a green paradise!
