Lovely studio just a little outside the town (about 10-15 minutes on foot – part of the way is without a bord walk but on gravel; however, walk is safe).  Parking right outside (but no noise from street if you close windows); beautiful view of the sea from balcony. Beach across the street.
Very clean. Spacious. Closet for storage.
Good wifi.
Lovely balcony, great to sit in the evening, look at the moon and listen to the waves.
Kitchen very functional, large fridge with spacious freezer. Detergent and new sponge, plus towel, provided.
Excellent communication with host. Very accommodating – we could check-in a bit earlier and check-out a bit later; extra towel provide upon request.
Our room had three steps to the bathroom – not a problem for us, but a person with mobility issues should check whether all rooms have steps.
At about 55 E/night for August, the busiest month, good value for money.
Balcony chairs could be a bit more comfortable.

Excellent

Stayed for 5 nights in one of the apartments. It was overall fine however I wouldn’t consider it as a value for money for a number of reasons. On the one side the room was big and comfortable for a couple with a wonderful view in front of the sea. The owner was very friendly and helpful when asked so. On the other hand, some basic things weren’t working properly. For example, it was almost impossible to connect to the Wi Fi. Secondly the locker of the main door was malfunctioning and you had to try a lot to lock/ unlock the door. Last but not least, it was almost impossible to maintain the bathroom’s door closed. In order to do so, you had to push against the door and lock it, or else it was remaining open. We consider these things as very basic and we expected to work well especially for the price we paid. Had the above been sorted out I could give a 4 or 5 rating.

Nice but could be a lot better

Like many I guess we've been seduced by the pictures of the balcony with the view. But we've been pleasantly surprised by the room it self. Big and clean. The studio is a bit far away from the city center and you definitely need a car to go for dinner as the road is not safe to walk on. We were lucky as part of it had failed in the sea and there was only alternate driving on it. I reckon it can be a bit noisy when people are going to work other wise.

A very big clean and cheap room

The room was amzing, modern, clean, with great view of the sea. Each night we fell asleep to the sound of the waves! The owners were very polite and available in case we needed them. The price was excellent compared to the quality and the room had everything we could ask for, a big kitchen, a bathroom, two balconies, supplies for coffee, salt, pepper, sugar, etc., comfortable furniture, a closet and a really nice bed. I would definately stay there again and I recommend it blindfolded!

Best choice!

The apartment is located on the beach , a bit out of the center and on the main road ..
The rooms are very big with kitchen and all comfort you need like air condition etc..
The studio is very good quality for the price ..
for a few days is a good solution..

Good choice..

We found these very pleasant studios by accident as driving past. They are around half a km from the main town. The studio we chose - this was October so not busy and had a choice - was spacious, very clean with a wonderful view. Situated opposite the beach which was very quiet with maybe 1/2 a dozen people on there. We had such a lovely time we stayed longer than we planned. Very well equipped with hairdryer, coffee maker, full oven and hob and large fridge, and a/c etc. Great terrace/balcony. Excellent value.
The only downside was some road noise but we had the a/c on at night and so the windows were closed anyway so this was not a problem.

Highly recommend.

Room tip - you get a great view on the first floor apartments
The Lidl supermarket in the town sells cretan honey at 1 euro 49 cents for 1/2 a kilo and yoghurt is 2 euros 29 for a kilo and both are absolutely delicious.
