Everything was perfect. Rooms are simple but clean. Super helpful and pleasant personnel. Tasty food and drinks. Calm place where noone will disurb you. A free bus to the nearest village. Excursions and animation. The best place to get your first naturist experience.

The best place to get your first naturist experience

This is our 3rd visit to Vritomartis and definitely won’t be our last ! There is not really much more you can say about Vritomartis that has not already been said, this really is a small piece of Paradise.

The hotel is kept spotlessly clean by the team of cleaners and ground staff. The use of electric leaf blowers in the mornings is a big plus for those that like to sleep in. The robot pool cleaner is setup to work overnight so there is no interruption for those that like an early morning swim.
All the staff are so friendly and will go the extra mile to help with any requests (a big shout out to Elina)

The food is of a high standard with a good variety every day, one of the additions since our last visit was the desserts counter, Vikentios is very passionate about his desserts and is a huge credit to the hotel !

If I had to be nit picky then the orange juice at breakfast in the mornings is not really up to 4* standard and the pool in October could do with the help of a little heating but neither of these will stop me coming back.

Just Keeps Getting Better

Well we left London in the rain..and bought it all the way to crete! but only for 1 night.  Our 1st visit to this resort, very friendly staff, clean comfortable rooms, lovely pool area.  Met some lovely people and will definitely return.  For us specifically (hubby is visually impaired) we found the lighting on the terrace to be lacking in the evening, but that was our only gripe! Looking forward to next visit.

Beautiful resort will go again!

We’ve been going on a nudist beaches for a really long time now but we only found a courage to try nudist hotel this time. Wish we wouldn’t have waited for that long, we could have been going to this amazing place much sooner. Girls on reception aked us if this is the first time we are here and they said we will love it here. And they were right. The whole hotel was booked and the only option available was ‘hidden’, which in the end we were really happy about because it turned out to be really great and we fell in love with the suite. We were watching sunsets with a glass of metaxa every night. Amazing place, truly. The vibe of the whole resort was very calm, everyone was enjoying their own piece of paradise, the staff was very nice, helpful and they tried to make everyone’s day nicer. We were enjoying really tasty diners with with glass of wine, going on a walks by the sea, swim there, swim in the pool, we felt like one day is way too short for us. Next year, we are planing on taking our Eleni for two weeks. The only little negativum is that there isn’t pavement lighting from suit to hotel. In the evening it’s really dark.

Chill oasis

This was our first venture into the world of naturism and I don't believe that we could have chosen a more perfect place.
From the moment we arrived until the time we left, the hotel staff could not have been more welcoming or helpful.  Our fellow guests were equally delightful and ALL were repeat visitors to Vritomartis.
The hotel is in a wonderful position, on the south coast of Crete overlooking the Mediterranean sea. The hotel was immaculate both inside and out with plenty of communal seating areas and a surplus of sun loungers at all times of the day.  
The animations team arranged a wide variety of free activities ranging from stretching / yoga, darts, pétanque, volleyball, painting, aqua-aerobics, waterpolo, archery, pool and table-tennis, plus a number of (paid) excursions, including hiking, boat trips and cycling.  It has to be said that no-one felt coerced into partaking, but those that did had a great time.
The accommodation is on a half- board basis including a buffet breakfast, with variety of fruit, yoghurt, breads and eggs, sausages and bacon.  The  evening meal was again self-serve and was varied each night with something for everyone.  Lunchtime meal could be taken at the pool bar or at the small taverna on the nearby beach.  A selection of local dishes for circa €8 or club sandwiches / burgers in the region of €12-15.  All great quality and value for money.
There is a naturist beach which is associated with the hotel, but is also open to the public and so use of the sun-beds and parasols is charged extra.  It's a short walk (1km) to the beach or guests can use the free shuttle bus, which goes to a from the hotel about 4-5 time a day.  The beach is pebbly and so beach/swim shoes would be recommended. 
Evening entertainment is on offer most evenings in the hotel, which was of good quality, expect quiz nights, cretan dancing, live bands, karaoke and the like.
All in all, we found this to be a wonderful hotel and ideal for our first naturist experience.  We seldom return to the same venue, but will return to Vritomartis.  

Our first naturist holiday, but not the last!

This is a lovely hotel with wonderfully friendly and respectful staff who really make an effort to ensure your holiday is relaxing and enjoyable. 
Everywhere is kept spotlessly clean and the rooms, whilst not luxurious, are inviting with very comfortable beds. 
The food is excellent, being well presented and the salad choices are delicious.  The breakfast too offers plenty of choice. 
The area around the swimming pool, and the swimming pool itself is again kept beautifully clean and tidy. 
I cannot fault this 4 star hotel for value for money, for service, for entertainment (if you’re so interested) and for the general amenities it offers. We hope to stay again, assuming we can get a booking as it’s just so popular with many guest returning year after year!

Lovely, lovely hotel

We had a super great 10 days @ the resort, very calm and friendly, good exelent food and friendly staff. A lot of hiking possibillities in the sorundings. The guests are also very friendly and natural. The cleanliness and service is outstanding good. 
This is not a partyplace but a super good relaxing and battery charging place. We will most likely come back again :)

This is one of the best places on earth for relaxing.

Excellent staff and great food. My villa was very clean .The weather and location again was very good. Giannini in the restaurant organises everything so well and is a cool guy.  Enjoyed my stay and the trips I did so much. 

Vritomartis trip

This was our second holiday at Vritomartis and we plan to return in 2024. Vritomartis is extremely well cared for from.the Hotel to the bungalows. Above all the staff are excellent being attentive and friendly.

Let's go again

Whilst the beach was not as impressive as the resort itself, overall this was quite the best of the naturist venues we have visited to date with the best facilities and hospitality and  friendliest, most helpful staff we could wish for. Thank you; we hope to return next year for  longer stay.

Finding a way  of Improving the beach to make the sea more easily accessible is the only suggestion we have for improvement- perhaps a simple walkway  structure into the water to enhance the Vritomaris experience-?
