I travelled with my 2 daughters and a friend with her son so I had the studio for 3 people and my friend had one of the double rooms. Simply furnished rooms, but very clean and the studio had a kitchenette which was well equipped with a kettle and toaster so ideal for breakfast. The location was perfect - a few meters from the port where the ferries come in from Piraeus; shops, bakeries, cafes and restaurants very close by. Lovely beach just a couple of minutes walk. Also close to the bus stop which takes you to the impressive hilltop capital of Chora and buses to other beaches. Good value for money accommodation on a beautiful island. The owner and cleaning lady were very pleasant and nothing was too much trouble Would highly recommend and would definitely return.

Lovely rooms and studios on bes

Prime location just above Livadi's port, view on the town, view on the boats, seaview all over. Nice spacious refurbished room. Brilliant terrace, supermarket in the vicinity. Small pebble beach (take beach shoes) close by down a narrow path, beautiful sandy beach (with trees) behind Pounti at 5 mins. walk (with bar, restaurant and facilities.)
Along the boulevard multiple cafe's and restaurants and a bus that takes you up the hill to Chora.
We visited at the start of the season for 3 days, were the only visitors at Pounti and so happy with the serenity of the place that we just hung around Livadi and Chora, wanting more, more, more. We will return to Serifos, We certainly will return to Pounti.. Perhaps we should keep this a secret.

Better keep this a secret

We recently stayed in Pounti for 5 nights - not the fanciest place in the world but still deserves top marks for the price we paid, excellent location and lovely owner!

It's probably a 2 minute walk to the port, you can actually sit outside the rooms and watch for your ferry to come in instead of waiting around at the port.

Rooms were spacious, bathroom was big too with a really good shower (and hairdryer!) and spotlessly clean! The view from our room (number 5) is probably one of the nicest we've experienced. Take note that there are a lot of steps up to the rooms (50 something!) So if mobility is an issue it might not be the best place for some.

The owner was lovely too (didn't catch his name) always seemed to be around when we wanted to ask him something, gave us some local wine to try and was always interested in a chat! He let us keep the room for our last day too as our ferry wasn't due until late evening. During one of our chats he told us about some of the local cats in the area, he and his wife try send some to Athens every year to be sterilized and in some cases adopted which is great as there were a lot in the area and some didn't look too healthy.

Think it's great that he does his bit for the cat population as I don't think there are many procedures in place to keep the population down!

All in all his positive attitude and friendly nature almost made our stay more enjoyable than the lovely rooms and views at Pounti. This place deserves more reviews and wouldn't hesitate in recommending it as a place to stay.

Serifos was great, the Livadi area in particular was better than we expected too - pay a visit to The Skippers Dock for happy hour cocktails, another lovely friendly owner there, full of chat and they make great pastries!!!



Ticked all the boxes!

Stayed at Pounti for three nights. Room was quiet and spacious, recently renovated to very high standards. It was very clean, the bed mattress perfect for sleeping and the bathroom new with excellent shower. There was an air-condition which did not use at all, as the roof fan was enough to cool the room.  Wifi was fast. Nice terrace although it did not have a view, but was not so important to me.
Location is just one minute from the port and the bus station and 3 minutes from the center of Livadi.
The owner  was very accommodating and helpful and even let me keep the room at no extra charge until my departure in the afternoon. And all these at a very reasonable price.
Highly recommended and would definately stay there when I visit the island again.

Excellent quality rooms

No frills but everything you may need to have a really wonderful stay : simple and just perfect! New bathroom (and big shower, compared to greek standard), top fridge (for really cold water and wine!), AC and fan, very good size room (clean and recently renovated) with an amazing view! Top location: 1 min walk from Port, 1 min walk from supermarket and bus station. Very close to restaurants and to one of the beaches of Serifos too. And, above all, friendly and helpful hosts: Antigone and Michael gave us a great welcome and we had a wonderful stay. At Pounti you really feel the Greek hospitality and, with no doubt, if we will return to Serifos we will book here again.

Perfect !

We stayed in one studio for 3 nights and although there was a locked door inside the room communicating with the room next door -not very good energy wise- the room was very quiet. Nice and friendly owners. The studios are next to the port and we had easy access to the most famous beaches as well as to Chora.
