Third time here, and when I see my landlady Anna - I feel like I was met by family. Her smile and a hug make me forget I woke up 03.00 to catch shuttle bus from Milan and that Heraklion cab driver again ripped me off and that I am tired. 

As always - spacious room with Air Condition. In a kitchenette there is enough space for a table to dine, and there is writing desk also. Water, juice and beer will wait for you in the fridge. Terrace is big enough for 4 chairs, and gives nice side sea view. Bathroom is spacious as well and everything is perfectly clean. So nothing has changed from 2018. 

There are enough sockets in the room: you can plug antimosquito repellents, charge your phone and plug the laptop at the same time. 

And all this 15 m from the beach and my favourite restaurants in Rethymno. 

 

 

Nothing's changed!

Lovely hosts, big room, well equipped kitchen, nice bathroom, nice furniture, plenty of hangers, and everything spotless.  We will definitely be staying here again.  Beach is across the road, and under 15 minutes walk to the harbour.

Very nice familiy, very nice place, it was like beeing at home!!!
The service was excellent, very clean rooms and we had a big balcony on the sea side on the second floor, we stayed 2 weeks in october, it was a great time.

Like having home near beach

It doesn't happen often that I get even more I expected.
Evagellina studios are located almost across the beach. I received a message from landlady Anna about time of my arrival, and then she explained to me best way to reach Rethymno from Heraklio airport. (Everything was exactly like she said /except for a crooked taxi driver from Heraklio airport, but thatčs another story/ I arrived under heavy ice rain, but that is also another story. Both stories has to di with Poseidon and Boccaccio...)

The room is clean and spacious. Bathroom is equipped better than usual. Shower cabin has enough room.
Cleanliness is excellent.
Terrace is also spacious with cute view, table and pair of chairs. 

Wi-Fi is free and it works all the time. 

More than enough plugs on the walls. 

The fridge is working even when you pull your key plate from the wall, and it is very important plus - ice cream won't smelt in the freezer and milk won't go sour while you're on the beach. 

Anna and their (I assume) sons are so kind. I doubt I would manage to drag my 19 kilos suitcase on the upper floor, but Anna's son didn't wait me to ask he just took it and carried it to my door where Anna greeted me as a cousin who came to visit her after a long time. 

Kitchenette has everything one needs (not scratched teflon pans or something).
there is a writing desk (with a plug close to it, I must repeat it, because it happens so often that one can't make laptop conveniently and at the same time charge mobile phone(s)).

We stayed here for 6 days and we are really satisfied with our room, the service and with the family who own this hotel. It's a perfect spot as their hotel is just almost by the beach, just a little walk for everything you will need. 
The owner even helped us to get free sun-beds and parasol in the beach. 
On our last day here, our flight will be late and we need to check out in the afternoon so we need somewhere to put our luggage and they helped us. We stayed in their restaurant/cafe and we even got free drinks. 
We will definitely stay here again when we come back to rethymno and recommends this to everyone. Thank you Evagellina! 🙂

A good place run by a nice family

Anna was really sweet - was very helpful during our stay. Apartment was well-lit, had a lovely balcony, good TV service, nice size.

Very nice staff. Close to the beach, the old town and to the supermarkets and restaurants.

Very nice hotel close to the city and the beach

Nice family run hotel with friendly staff. I used the hotel to stay at night , but during the day visiting different beaches.

Hotel Evagelina is in a good location for the beach and also the old town. Anna is unfailingly attentive good humoured and hard working. I will be back most assuredly and I miss it already! Rooms are comfortable and rates are competitive!
