I was lucky enough to stay in the "green" room in this wonderful B&B.  The house itself is absolutely amazing, decorated with 1950s furniture and rustic in feeling with exposed stone and wood on the interior.  The view from my room was breath-taking.  I could see the mountains in the distance of Volos as well as the port and the sea.  

The hospitality of the owners is what made the trip so special, though.  They were kind and thoughtful, and made efforts to speak with me in my native language (English).  The food was delicious and the experience overall was what I'd consider "once-in-a-lifetime".

This guesthouse is really special. Sofia and Giannis have done their best to decorate the house and the garden in a very traditional and unique way. The view to Volos is just incredible, you only want to sit in the garden and look around. You can visit the guesthouse both in winter and in summer. The room and the whole house were very clean and tidy. The breakfast - which was handmade by Sofia and Giannis - was delicious, traditional tiropita, omelette, jams! What else can somebody ask for? They made us feel really like being in our home. They are very friendly, polite and willing to give you any information about Pilio and Volos. We had 3 amazing days there and we would really like to go back again as soon as possible. There is no need to look for something else if you want to visit Portaria.

If in need of a peaceful and picturesque getaway, Theasis is the perfect place to go. Situated at the edge of the village with a stunning 180 view of Volos and the sea on your ascent to the entrance which follows into the bedroom. The bedroom is cosy, very clean and with a lovely fireplace to use as you wish. Mrs Sofia and Mr Giannis are extremely hospitable, keen and helpful to plan your day in the morning whilst they decorate your table with homemade marmalades and Mr Giannis delicious omelette. A lovely lovely stay, can't wait to go back there!

Perfect location with a fantastic and breathtaking view. Visiting from Singapore, far away from home, the warm and welcoming hosts made my stay very homely and enjoyable.Rooms were very clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. Breakfast was fantastic with delicious and freshly prepared homemade jams. Overall, a fabulous experience that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Pelion.

Der Aufenthalt im Theasis Guesthouse bietet alles, was man sich von seinem Griechenlandurlaub erträumt. Staying at the Theasis Guesthouse was the highlight of our trip to Greece. Here we found everything you’d picture your perfect holiday to be like. The views from the house are amazing – you’d simply want to stay there all day, sitting on the terrace, enjoying the sunshine and watching the scenery. However, there is so much to explore in the area, it’s worthwhile leaving the house for some time as well. What impressed us most though was the extraordinary friendliness of the owners. Greek hospitality at its finest!
