We stayed there for 3 weeks. Everyone of the staff is now our friend 😁 . Very friendly and    helpful people. Thats a bit truth that the rooms are a bit old fashioned but it's not a 5 star Hotel. Breakfasts same everyday:ham,cheese,tomatos,watermelon😆 but always fresh. Very quiet place,close to the beach with Nice Restaurant great for romantic dinner and to walk at nigt time. We really enjoyed that place !

We stayed here as a group in October, and were pleasantly surprised by the choice at breakfast and the surroundings. We also enjoyed the buffet in the evenings, and the staff were pleasant too. We caught the minibus to the main road, and went by bus to Chania and caught the minibus back to the hotel. It all worked! It is a short walk to the dining room etc if you are in the 2nd or 3rd block, but we found it very quiet.

A comfortable hotel

Me and my partner travelled here on the 8th - 16th July 2016 as a last minute break.

Overall happy with our stay and we're wow'ed with the size and cleanliness of the pool area (was fantastic lit up at night).

Hotel is conveniently situated next to the national road (not noisy at all in response to previous feedback below), where the Northern facing rooms have an excellent view where you can see Kissamos bay which I might add looks fantastic at sunrise / sunset.

There is very little public transport / transfers offered, so I would certainly advise hiring a car for your stay (we hired for 8 days for 200 euros at high season prices). Otherwise its a hefty 8 to 10 euro single trip into Kissamos by taxi. 

Good beach a short distance away from the hotel, walk able but will take 30 minutes minimum. Otherwise if hiring there's a lovely beach in Kissamos further to the west side of the strip or for avid snorkellers we'd recommend Ravdoucha beach. All other popular beaches (Elafonsi, Balos, etc) are all within driving distance.

The breakfast service is very basic, but is always replenished and well staffed. Didn't see other meals offered, but would recommend eating by the beach down the road or in Kissamos. 

The rooms were cleaned to a basic standard with bed sheets and towels changed daily. 

Do not go to this hotel expecting 5* luxury for 1* prices. Its affordable and excellent value for money! Staff were friendly and the Algerian night porter was a good host.

Basic, Affordable, Everything it Says on the Tin! Amazing Pool!

Nice pool and close to the beach, although I would recommend renting a car because taxi can be expensive and it takes one hour by bus to get to the city. Near the hotel is a couple of restaurants and a small shop at the camping site near the beach. The wifi is good, but there is no tv in the rooms as the hotel said would be included in the rooms. The hotel food is ok, but it's better to try the restaurants by the beach or one in the close village, Drapanias. The staff is nice but the cleaning-ladies are not very organized and could sometimes knock on our door asking for room service two-three times the same morning. The AC works fine, but costs 6 euro per night. The breakfast is free but not very big. It's the same every day, watermelon, bread and juice. Altogether, the hotel is cheap and you get what you pay for. The hotel is located in a calm environment so if you are looking for a place to hang by the pool all day long, this is the place to be. 

You get what you pay for

The hotel is situated right out Kissamos village, at 5 minutes by car. The structure is very big, with a large parking. However it needs a significant reorganization from owner side. The rooms are spacious, but a bit old-fashioned and impossible to make them dark at night. Breakfast is always the same and really basic. A poor selection of sweet and salty food, bad coffee, "chemical" juice and always same fruit (watermelon). Most of the days is impossible to have hot water at night. Wifi works only in common area and most of the time was off. The staff is kind but systematically ignored our complains about all this. The hotel includes a nice swimming pool, fully organized with a bar and a restaurant.

Nice structure but many weak points

The receptionist was very friendly and service minded. The view from the breakfast restaurant and from our balcony was beautiful. Unfortunately, the rest of our stay here was a mess: the air condition did not work, the mattresses were hard, the lunch restaurant did not have a menu (it turned out that they served omelett, salad and schnitzel), we waited an hour for the food, we did not receive it at the same time and the schnitzel was raw inside. There were very few guests. Our greatest dissappointment was the pool though: it was dirty. There were dead insects floating around and leafs in the corners. The pictures on the hotel website does not reflect the bad atmosphere we felt there: the furniture in the lobby, including the billiard table was covered with sheets as if the place was closed down. Sorry, I cannot recommend this hotel.
