Rooms Elena have a very good spot, on the beach, at the end of village Nea Potidea, Chalkidiki. The sea at this point is not very good, like at other spots, but if you want to have a room and just get on the beach, with no car, no walk at all, is the right place. Rooms are ok, have all this things to make coffee, to cook something light, some of them have the view at the sea. The owner is kind of unpolite, he's like, "you know, this is what I am and I don't care if you want to stay or not". For me, this behavior is not professional at all...

On the beach, with good view, but just this!

The house is new and very nice and it is exactly where is pointed on the website. It’s clearly written on the house “Rooms Elena” and the host’s phone number so it’s easy recognisable. All the towels and sheets are branded in Greek – Elena. The bed in our room was comfortable. The tap water is drinkable. The hot water is hot and enough for all guests. Our room was with garden view, but we had partial sea view. The host clean the seaside from sea grass in front of the house very often. The house is only 15 meters from the sea, exactly on the beach. It’s very comfortable especially if you take a sea view room, just few steps and you are in the water. There are enough sun beds and sun umbrellas in front of the house and a lot of tables and chairs in the garden close to the barbeque (between the house and the sea). The beach is sandy, but the first 3 meters in water are stones (the host has put steps to help people to get through them), after that it’s sandy for 30-40 meters. The sea is very friendly and clean. The sea water is clear when the waves are small and crystal when there are no waves. No sea urchins in front of the house, we met some on the north side in the sea. Don’t go deep in the sea if you can’t swim because the sea ground is not flat after these 30 meters sand, there are lots of sudden ups and downs. The sunrise is magnificent. Mount Athos is visible from the seaside when the air is clear. Supermarkets and taverns are within 200-500 meters, but the house if far from the town’s centre. The host speaks English, but his wife doesn’t. 

We booked a studio for 4 (the only available for the dates we wanted), which had to be 33 square meters, but the one that they gave us was quite smaller. It could reach 33 if we count the balcony (which is not private balcony because the stairs are outside the house, not inside, and we had to share the balcony with another room; these outside stairs for the third floor were right over our dining table so it’s unpleasant] also people climbing for the 3rd floor overlooked in our room through the window – no privacy at all). In fact, there were 3 beds (1 double, 1 single and 1 foldable) in our room. We were only 2 people which upset the host, but in booking’s conditions was written that the room is for UP TO 4, not EXACTLY for 4 people. He was deciding which room to give us for 15 minutes!!! I asked for a ground floor by an e-mail, because my husband has slight mobility problem, the host promised me to keep a ground floor room for us and broke the promise. 
There was a leak from the toilet and the dirty water flows on the bathroom’s floor. 
The fridge was completely frozen and didn’t work well; we had to unfreeze it to improve its cooling effect.
The kitchen was described as fully equipped, but it was not – the cooking hobs were missing, the dish for soup was only one, the pan was unusable (with scraped teflon) etc. The host admitted that the previous guests were together with the ones from another room so part of our room’s equipment is in another room. My advice to the host is to create some rules and print them for each room, like “Don’t take the dishes, forks, knives etc. out of the room; Keep silence during rest hours; Use your own towels on the beach” etc. and also to create a list with each room’s belongings and to check if anything is missing before welcoming the next guests. 
No recycle bin in the room (only a small one in the bathroom, but its purpose is for the toilet only).
They didn’t change our sheets and towels for the entire stay – 8 nights.
Confusing check in and check out times. The check in time is 10-14, so does it mean that if we come after 14, they will not accept us? Check out time overlap the check in time, it’s 8-12, so if we decide to check out at 12 and the next guests come at 10, what will they do until we check out?
The internet: it was written that it’s available in all areas. In fact in our room it was not available at all (so in the most rooms). It should be written that internet is available in public areas (between the house and seaside) and in some rooms only. After few days using internet in front of the house with my cell phone, the net suddenly dropped. When I asked the host, he was very impolite and said that the problem is in my device and refused to restart the rooter as I suggest, but a lot of the other people around also were not able to connect with their android devices (windows phones and computers didn’t experienced that problem). The next day internet become connectable for all, but the host didn’t excuse. But guess how the net repairs: the host unplug the rooter every night and plug it again around 9 a.m.
Insufficient light in the room – there was only 1 lamp; the night lamp didn’t work (a bulb was missing), no lamp over the kitchen sink, slight light from the absorber’s lamp; the only lamp in the bath/toilet was the one from the rack which was designed for two bulbs, but one was missing. It was not comfortable to have a shower in the dark.
No shelf for toilet paper, no shelf for soap in the bath.

Close to the sea, no wifi in the rooms

Too much money for the seaview one more time!! Mercy.. Too bad hotel in everything. Bad kitchen, bath, room is everything else exept isometric, beds are disastrous and of course the BEST IS THE WORST ATTITUDE EVER!! I went there for another room and i got another room cause he arrange my room for his friends! Dont go there..leave the hotel for his friends!

Awful - Απαίσιο!!

Everything is false on booking.com. The rooms are terrible. Narrow, no utensils in the kitchen. The doors couldn't be locked. Everything is out of order. Windows can not closed. Toilets were broken. Stairs to the highest floor are very unsafe. The rooms on the roof look like as nests for birds. Total chaos reigns in the house. The owners are most unkind. They have not cash register. There is no WI FI in the house.The house is at the and of the city. You must go 800 m. to the first supermarket or taverna. Don't go there if you want to have a normal summer holiday.

NEVER GO THERE. TERRIBLE...TERRIBLE

It's pointless to book this place, one should not give money to people who run business that way. They cancelled our reservation when we arrived with our baby because "they made a mistake and informed booking.com, but booking.com didn't inform us". We had communication with the hotel before arrival. They informed us that we need to bring a baby bed, because they don't have one. We brought one, but this didn't help much.

Booking.com didn't help us to resolve the issue, so you better avoid this place at all cost, or you'll end up with money blocked, disputing a charge, and your vacation ruined.

Don't go to that place.
