I loved Thomais Studios in every way.
Spotlessly clean and the best location.
Dimitria was so helpful and was genuinely pleased to answer any questions.
When you arrive you are greeted with a bottle of wine, cake, fruit, coffee, water etc  - a lovely touch.
About a 30 meter  walk to the beach where you will find bars and restaurants of excellent quality. 
Thomais has an excellent selection of books to choose from too as well as kettle, iron, ironing board, fridge, coffee maker - I could go on and on  
A 15 minute walk into town will take you to even more lovely restaurants.
The public bus service from Naxos is very easy to navigate and use going to various locations over the island.
The room (we stayed in number 2) has a lovely balcony with nice patio furniture perfect for having a glass of wine at the end of a busy day.

A Perfect Experience

The room was great and modern and clean we felt it could have been even better if there was a small indoor seating area but there wasn’t really any space to put one. There was some noise overnight from people walking past in the early hours but you can’t blame the accommodation for that. The staff were very helpful especially Dimitri who was very warm friendly and welcoming.

Light, airy, clean and modern

A lovely little hotel right next to the beach and easy to walk into town. Staff were incredibly friendly and the rooms were very clean and nicely decorated. Each has their own balcony/terrace and we had a great view of the sea.  Comfortable bed and also had a little kitchenette which was useful.

Perfect hotel on the beach

We can’t have been happier with our choice of accomodation. It was fresh, clean, comfortable and well serviced. There were even beach towels provided. A lovely verandah to sit outside and too. 

The best wind-sheltered beach of Agios Giorgios was 50m away. We hired an umbrella and two beach loungers at Vammos Beach Bar every day for 30 euros and it felt like a perfect hotel holiday. We could order food and drinks and sit at the beach bar undercover as well. 

There were excellent tavernas to eat at on the beach within 100m. My favorite was Kavouri then Manolos. We love eating seafood with our feet in the sand right next to the water! I highly recommend having tsipouro with glikaniso with ice and water with your seafood meal! Very refreshing and Greek. It’s like ouzo but I like it more.

There are two supermarkets within 80m and a bakery. 

Lastly the old town and harbour are beautiful with a wide variety of food and drink and shops that stay open well after midnight. It’s a 5-10min walk away. 

I would go back again. Was excellent! 

Ps: it’s a lovely place to stay and relax and you don’t need a car if you looking to relax, walk, swim, eat and sleep! We hired a car for two days and regretted it in the heat. Agios Giorgos is the nicest beach.

EXCELLENT LOCATION AND ACCOMODATION

Before arriving the host reached out and procured a taxi for us from the port to the hotel. On arrival she greeted us showed us to our room where she presented us with a fruit basket and bottle of wine. Travel we my wife and 13 year old daughter and myself. The room was clean and we had a partial sea view. The hotel is steps from St George Beach and a short walk to the harbor where there are lots of shops and restaurants. We enjoyed our first trip to Naxos and this hotel was very comfortable and convenient for our stay.

Location, Cleanliness and wonderful staff

Excellent location with great view of sea and easy access to the beach and Naxos town. Staff very friendly and room facilities very good. Naxos Town had some excellent well priced restaurants within the labyrinthine streets around the castle.

What a fantastic find. We stayed at the Thomais Studious for 9 nights in September and although we have been to Naxos three times before, when we come back again we will definitely stay here. The location is superb, you can see the lovely St George’s Beach from your balcony and it is literally a 2 minute walk there and beautiful, vibrant Naxos Town is 5-10 minutes in the other direction. Dimitra could not have been more helpful and friendly when we arrived and throughout our stay and it was lovely to meet Sophia the owner as well. The rooms were cleaned to a very high standard every day, and there are lots of lovely restaurants and bars nearby. There is also a very good supermarket around the corner from the hotel along with numerous car/bike hire offices. It is worth a hiring a car to see lovely Halki and Aperathos villages in the mountains. There is a good bus to Plaka and the other west coast beaches and it worth walking along to the port bus terminal in high season to ensure getting a seat. Other good things to do are concerts/shows at the Naxos Venetian Castle and the Open Air Cinema on the edge of town (again a short stroll from the hotel). A wonderful place to stay

Gorgeous suites .  Lovely studios with outstanding service.  Welcome drink, water and homemade cakes on arrival and above standard cleaning service.  Very central.  You are perfectly situated near beach and on edge of town (two min walk).

Studio has Nespresso coffee machine , iron, hairdryer and fridge and little cooking spot.  Lots of great supermarkets and restaurants on doorstep.  They even
Provide beach towels!(free)

Only down is the balcony areas are quite exposed as in you will be sitting beside your neighbour with low dividing walls.  I think they do this so all get a sea view.  Upper level more private

Fantastic. Perfect location with above average service !

Amazing location - a few steps from the beach and many places to eat right on our doorstep. There are also convenience stores and bakeries very close by. It is only a 2-3 minute walk to the main shopping precinct in Naxos where lots of treasures can be found (fashion, jewellery, hand-made sandals and lots of gift ideas to take home). The apartments are very clean and beautifully decked out and many have balconies with ocean views. Sofia couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. During our stay my husband ended up in the hospital with an issue with his heart and Sofia drove me back and forth to the hospital, and without being asked came to the hospital to interpret the medical information from the doctor. Sofia went above and beyond anything you would expect from a host/owner.  We absolutely loved our stay and hope to return in the near future.

Absolutely AMAZING stay - can’t recommend Thomais Studios highly enough! 10/10 for sure!
