Villa Aurora

My husband and I visited Greece in Oct, 2022 for our 10-year wedding anniversary. As it was our first trip to Greece ever, we were very selective with our accommodations. From countless research, I stumbled upon Villa Marandi and it instantly caught my eye. Its rave reviews and their location were hard to ignore. Upon our arrival to Villa Marandi, we were immediately welcomed by their receptionist and bartender. Since our trip took place in early October, it was already Greece’s off season so the property was fairly quiet, which we frankly preferred. :) The property was meticulously well-kept and clean and it’s literally just minutes from a private beach that’s exclusive to the resort guests. The resort is also fairly close to a couple of popular beaches by car, and they kindly arranged a car rental for us as well if you contacted them in advance during your booking. We booked a ‘double Cycladic Superior Suite’ overlooking the ocean and right next to a trail (tho we never hiked it since we were more drawn to the ocean). The last 2 nights of our stay were quite windy so we luckily heard the crashing waves as we slept soundly at night in their super comfortable bed. Our suite was well stocked with a small kitchenette and potteries/cups/plates/silverware; however, I highly recommend their in-house restaurant as the food was phenomenal—perfect blend between modern-day culinary and comfy homemade meal vibes. Also, their daily breakfast buffet was the HIGHLIGHT of our entire stay, and after all of our Greece island lodging, we can confidently state that Villa Marandi offered the best quality, and selection at their breakfast buffet. Not to mention their exceptional service and attentativeness. I only wish we had stay longer as it was truly our home away from home! If you’re ever in Naxos, Villa Marandi is the perfect heaven for any type of vacations.
