A very pleasant, clean, quiet, and friendly family-run set of studios, situated 10 mins walk from the centre of Naxos. We were on a first floor balcony which, to judge from other reviews, was one of the best rooms, in terms of outlook on to the street. You can actually see our room if you go on to the Maroulis Hotel entry on here, as the room in the main photo is where we stayed. Amenities were basic but all in working order. Useful kitchen items included a cappuccino frother and a waffle maker. Not much room to manoeuver on the kitchenette hotplate but good enough for basic self-catering which we did a couple of nights as a break from souvlaki. Angeliki our hostess provided a lifeline when one of us had a dental emergency, for which we were very grateful. If all dentists were as as kind and efficient as the one she put us in touch with, I'd consider travelling to Naxos just for the dental care! It put our much harrassed and time-poor NHS dentists to shame. Nikos met us at the ferry to drive us to the studios. Definitely a place to recommend and to go back to.

Delighful and friendly family-run studio, central but quiet

Great location in between the port and St Georgios beach. We stayed for three nights which was perfect. We had a room called half basement level which means our balconies was half bellow the street level this was not a problem, the balcony was large enough to have breakfast and dry our laundry. Our host also provided free port transfers “just ask”.

Great location and great price for a short stay at Naxos.

We had an entirely enjoyable and wonderful stay here. Not only was the host super helpful in picking us up and dropping us off at the port, he also was helpful in extending our stay. Everyone is super nice and laid back. Our room was cleaned daily and always left very fresh. 10/10, no complaints- all amenities worked great, great location, and wonderful stay! Thank you!

AMAZING stay!!

a cute little apartment that was well furnished and close to the beach and to the shops and restraunts. It is great value for money both in terms of location and quality, a definite recommend to anyone going to naxos. The staff were friendly and welcoming and very accommodating.

Great location

Modern apartment with balcony, perfect for a couple with 2 days to explore Naxos. Located very close to the beach and town centre (5 mins from both). Hosts were perfect, had great chats with them on both days that we were there (particularly the mother) and port pick up/drop off is included. An issue with the bill that was discovered on the way to the port after check out was sorted out quickly with a phone call and no hassle.

Perfect Studio for 2 Days in Naxos

Went to Greece for my 60th birthday with Athens and Santorini as our main destinations.  Naxos was only meant to be a halfway stopping point between them both.  Big mistake!  Wish we'd skipped Santorini and just stayed here! Naxos is really the most most beautiful island and this hotel is just lovely!  The family that runs it is just so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Never had such a warm welcome! Will definitely be going back as soon as possible!

Wonderful location and rooms!

The stratos family immediately made us feel very welcome when we arrived, if we had any questions at any time all we had to do was go upstairs to the terrace! The rooms are spotlessly clean. Fresh linens and towels each day. A two minute walk to St. George's beach and a supermarket around the corner. A 5 minute walk to Naxos town. Location wise this accommodation is ideal. 

A welcome like no other!

We stayed here for 2 nights in July and it was perfect for what we needed. The decor and the furniture were a little dated but the apartment was clean and practical. It was just a 2 minute walk to the beach and on the same block there were supermarkets, restaurants, launderettes, bakeries and car hire places. Then it was a nice 10 minute stroll into the main Chora/Naxos Town and the port area. 
The owner picked us up from the port and took us to the airport on departure which was great

2 minutes from St. George's Beach

Just stayed again with Angela and Nikos. By far the best welcome to any accomodation you will ever have. The big kisses and bear hug from Angela mean just one thing....you have returned to her precious island.
From the moment you are collected from the port to being dropped off, you are truly cared for. The accommodation is spotlessly cleaned (daily), close to town and beach. Everything you need for an easy, relaxing stay. The little kitchen perfect if you need it.
Early evenings, you will be welcomed to the families terrace on the top floor for a glass or two or three of Nikos's wine and meet the family. A quick chat will pass to hours in Angela's company (just don't get her started on politics). 
We've stayed in so many places around Greece, but this place is definitely the most welcoming, jolly and cheerful of them all. Come more than once and you definitely become a friend. Love our little adopted Greek family. 

Stay once as guests, return as family

I have stayed with Niko and Angela in their pension for twenty years now and would not dream of staying anywhere else. It is easy to book, desperately friendly and hospitable. Niko collected us from the port and took our bags to the room. The rooms are wonderfully clean; serviced everyday and with clean bed linen and an abundance of towels. 

We have stayed in most of the rooms over the years. All have a bedroom (either twin or double), kitchen area, bathroom and balcony with table and chairs. Air conditioning, TV and WiFi was included in the price. 

The studios are situated equidistant from the Hora and St George’s beech and close to amenities such as a wonderful bakery, small friendly supermarket and car/bike hire facilities. The area of town is central yet quiet and peaceful and is within a mixed tourist/residential area. 

Stratos has a very homely and feels like you are staying with friends. Can’t recommend it enough.
