Kiki's Apartments

These two flats are wonderful: we stayed in the slightly more modern one, but both have fabulous views south-west over Barbati Bay. The flats are up the hill above the road, so be prepared for a few steps, but the climb is absolutely worth it! We were treated like best friends - from the very first day, when Dora messaged me to say we could come early, she would have another place ready, because there were thunderstorms. She and Petros are brilliant hosts, providing us with home-grown tomatoes, peppers and the most delicious figs you've ever eaten. The flats are well-equipped: plenty hot water, decent shower, more than adequate kitchen facilities - although we never cooked food. Good aircon and nice shutters for those late mornings. We ate salads on the terrace, had our breakfasts there too, under the huge parasol and thoroughly enjoyed the quiet, away from the tourists and busy-ness of the street. Being in the centre of Barbati, the flats are under 50m from the bus stop to Corfu town, 100m from a small supermarket and bakers and there are 4 good restaurants within 150-200m. Car hire across the road, but we didn't use it.
