145 reviewsSokratis was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The apartment was large and had two patio areas to sit out on. It had all the facilities that you would need for a self catering holiday, as long as you don't intend to cook elaborate meals as there is no cooker, just a 2 ring hob and toaster, which was fine for us as we ate out for lunch and dinner. The apartments have slippers, ironing board and iron, drying airer, and included a free safe and free Wifi. On arrival we thought that the beds were a little harder than we are used to but we slept amazingly well on them. The air con was very good and also free. The breakfasts, served to you, were delicious every single day! They included fresh bread, cake and pastries, eggs, omelettes, pancakes, fruit and yogurt with honey. Portions were very generous and we only ever needed salad for lunch! The location is good. It is a gentle 10 minute walk downhill to the beach, restaurant and shops. There is also a pool with a bar nearby if you want a change from the beach. You can hire a car from Sokratis for a very reasonable rate. We would have no hesitation in staying here again when we return to Kos in the future.
