It’s hard to write a review after I explain my situation 

My 5* is based on the accomodation and the owners

It’s a beautiful place
It is very basic room but extremely comfortable bed and everything you could need
The pool is lush and the views are to die for
Chris and his mother couldn’t do enough to help me and I’m extremely greatful for their help

I went as a solo traveller and I don’t drive
But the walk into argastoli is beautiful and not far at all like you might read in some other reviews

I had a bad experience whilst walking to the villa where I was flooded by two cars and they were grabbing me to the cars

I ran and the other guests helped
I did move accomodation the next day but only as it was a little remote and I didn’t feel safe

Beautiful

Just home after 10 days break. Will return when the island opens up in late April/May. We knew it would be basic before booking, however it is immaculately clean, perfect position for Argostoli away from the main town, simple and lovingly prepared breakfast, the homemade jam and fresh on the day bread is just right. The views are so good. Thoroughly enjoyed. Most guests had a hire car, which we found essential. 
All units are identical, modest kitchen and bathroom, single beds can be pushed together. Plenty of hot water. A lovely pool area, and gardens we sat in under the olive trees.

Well worth a stay. A little gem.

We only stayed here one night as moving on but what a lovely place. It is set on a hill looking across to Argostoli and has stunning views and swimming pool. We were served a delightful breakfast by the kind owners and there are numerous cats - which we loved. The apartment was basic but clean and I would consider staying here longer next time. The walk across the bridge is fabulous too.

Beautiful place 2022

My friend and I found North West Studios really delightful holiday accommodation with comfortable, well laid out interior spaces, nice outdoor verandas over-looking beautiful views and a lovely relaxing pool.  The family who run the studios are so welcoming, friendly and generous; they made our stay so relaxing and a real pleasure – I’d definitely return there next time I go to Kefalonia.

Summer Holiday 2019

I stayed at this property with my partner during our brief visit on the island. The room we received, which was comprised of a bedroom with two single beds pushed next to each other, a private bathroom, and a kichenette, was very clean. We enjoyed brewing our own coffee in the morning and enjoying the view of Argostoli and the lagoon from our little patio. The owners of the property are a really lovely family who were very welcoming and helpful. The location is also very good - just a 5 minute drive to the town centre and for those without a car a reasonable walk via a pedestrian bridge. I would recommend staying at this property.

Very pleased with this property

My boyfriend and I decided to book a night in Argostoli (we are currently staying in Sami for a week) as the last bus from Sami is only at 2:45pm and we wanted to make the most of it.

We arrived at the apartments (we walked which is quite a trek from Argostoli centre, a car would be better to travel around if you are staying there) and an older man greeted us. We had to wait half an hour until our room was ready but we didn't mind - we went to the gorgeous pool area with one of the nicest views I've ever seen from a pool.

The kind man walked us around our small bit very cute cabin style apartment and then left us to it. It was more spacious than we expected which was nice and another huge plus was the beds. So comfortable and there was a pillow block that you could put in between the two twin beds to make it a double (picture attached) - fantastic! The kitchenette (hob and fridge) and aircon were also nice bonuses. 

Washing up liquid and a sponge is included but if you want to cook, be prepared to use cutlery instead of a spatula as there isn't any and being your own oil or butter to cook with.

We made breakfast in the morning and ate it on the balcony (also stunning views) - we had quite a few of the cats join us so we cooked everything and gave it to them. They were all adorable!

The only negative about this place was that we couldn't stay longer. 

Romantic night away in Argostoli 

The accommodation is basic but spotlessly clean and well maintained. We had a week here, and despite the walk back up the hill would probably choose to stay here again. We like Argostoli for eating out in the evenings, but we also like access to a pool, and that's why we chose here.
There are a lot of cats, but they are fed and looked after. Many are shy, but some friendly and accept a fuss. Many of them are young and have fun chasing leaves - entertaining. The patriarch is 'Suza' - he likes a bit of ham at breakfast and is probably about 10/12 years old.
Breakfast if you choose it, is good value at 6 euros each - plenty of bread and lovely homemade jams, followed by an egg on toast with a bit of ham, cheese, tomato and cucumber, or if you prefer yogurt and honey. Tea or coffee, juice and cold bottled water, all in the price.

Friendly Family, fantastic views

We booked this trip a while ago and were really looking forward to it - and it didn't disappoint. What a wonderful view. It must be the best around as not only can you see the sea and harbour, but right across the bay and the beautiful town from above too. The studios are ideally situated over a scenic footbridge from the main town and it's a short walk up a hill surrounded by fragrant pine trees. The bathroom was a little basic, but spotlessly clean and we instantly felt at home in the comfortable accommodation. Lots to do in the area. It was mid-October but still reasonable weather and I just about managed to swim in the pool (which was thankfully still open and appeared to have been recently renovated to a high standard) and in the sea. The owner was incredibly helpful, kind and hospitable and created a welcoming atmosphere and it was great to meet some of the other guests too. A wonderful place and we'd love to go back!

Wonderful place with fantastic views and lovely people

We have visited Kefalonia 6 times previously this was our first time staying at Northwest and we loved it! Very basic rooms which is all you need. Good air con and shower and kitchenette area. Porch's outside for all rooms with incredible views across the bay and to argostoli! Owners lovely and the pool area and views are amazing! Well worth booking for a budget friendly great location. We hired a car as always but loved being able to walk across the bridge into Argostoli on a night! Lots of cats on site which for us was a plus as we are big cat people. We highly recommend this place for a break in kefalonia! :)
