It is well positioned, being the other side of the road from the beach and is close to local amenities such as tavernas, shops, bus services and the main road from the airport. It helps to remember Greek hotels have basic but comfortable accommodation. The owner went out of his way to be friendly and helpful, even inviting us to sit with his family and friends and was always happy to chat with us. We actually became quite close to his mother. The best example of his attitude I can give is, when I told him our flight left at 3.30pm, he immediately said that, in that case, we didn't need to vacate our rooms until midday.
