My wife and I spent six nights at Agiazi. Our room in that countryside mansion with stone walls was quiet, comfortable, clean and well equipped. Having breakfast at the wonderful garden terrace next to the citrus trees was a gratifying experience. Home made jams (don't miss the Chios mandarine jam), fresh citrus fruits juice and local delicacies are all you need to start your day the best way. Ms. Zannikou is the perfect host: hospitable, helping, discrete and a hell of a cook! Agiazi is only 10 minutes drive from Chios city centre, situated in the extraordinary and historical valley of Kampos. It's the ideal place for peaceful and trouble-free holidays, with best value for money.

Agiazi is a peaceful oasis in the Kambos region, with only the noise of the crickets and the cats to disturb.  Retired Magda and Markos are superb hosts, sharing the history of their renovated home, preparing an outstanding breakfast every morning that we enjoyed in the shade of the garden (you can even ask for porridge if you tire of fresh eggs, tomatoes, cheese, homemade baked goods and mandarin jam), and keeping a spotlessly clean home, inside and out.  The guesthouse is relatively easy to find in the maze of the Kambos (Google Maps is fine, although Markos will meet you just past the airport to guide you there if needed), and you can easily leave your car in front of the house.   We had a very comfortable, large room with a huge bathroom that was the former kitchen of the manor home, looking out to the garden.  The A/C, wifi, and small fridge were very welcome.  

A really minor detail, but I wouldn't have minded a small armchair in the room, although there is a comfortable living room and, of course, the garden where you can sit.   If you're a stickler for a double bed instead of two singles, you might want to specify that - we preferred the bigger room/bathroom, even if there were two singles pushed together.

Charming accommodations in the historic Kampos area of Chios! Magda and Marcos have lovingly restored a beautiful home Into a perfect bed and breakfast.  The rooms and bathrooms are very generously sized and ooze with character.  The outside garden, where breakfast is served, is a relaxing setting to start your day.  Breakfast consists of homemade Greek specialties, as well as Greek yoghurt, breads, eggs, and fresh squeezed orange juice from the owner's orchard.  Both Magda and Marcos are amazing hosts.  Nothing is too much trouble for them.  It was like staying with family.  The location is convenient to visiting all of Chios.

We spent holiday in Agiazi, and it was far better from expected. It is very hard to define what was best between Markos and Magda hospitality, beautiful restored rooms, quality of breakfast, house comfort, night walks in Kampos orchards... After 12 days we were sure that this is best position for island exploration, and we can recommend Agiazi to all who looks for refined and relaxing holiday.

The environment could be no better. Orange and mandarin groves, jasmine and basil is the morning sensation complimenting your breakfast. Magda's marmalade made from the unique Chios mandarin, which enjoys a PDO status, is the perfect result of the organically grown, hand picked citrus fruit collected and preserved by Magda. A perfect harmony of taste and aroma served on the plate. Markos and Magda are a very proud Greek couple welcoming their guest to their magnificently restored old mansion house. Unique by every aspect. Simply the best of Greece.
