Rooms are old and only one renovated which is the suite and small.   Breakfast not much choice and only sit outside.   Bed sheets change on 3 or 4 th day.   towel only on the 3 day.   
Must pay for beach chair on the beach.

As we were traveling with a baby we thought we did a diligent check on the rooms we were booking - only fo get there and the room was not the same.
We were given a semi-basement room with a window overlooking an internal staircase, and a hallway with a bed on each side representing “a second bedroom”. The rooms was full of mosquitos and there are otherwise no mosquitos on Naxos as long as there is wind.
The owners were not willing to discuss or compromise with us. As we booked non refundable they also were not willing to refund any money, although we never actually stayed in the room. Please skip this property and book a different one, Naxos is full of them!

Not what you see in the pictures!!!

Nice apartments partly with sea view, clean and tidy rooms, you will have everything you need including home made jam or an insect plug. Nice landlady and parking before the apartment available, taverns and supermarket in walking distance

Wow what a nice place is this hotel , very clean and beautiful rooms. I had the suite , it was really a dream so beautiful . It had a amazing view and a nice jacuzzi on the balcony . The restaurant and the beach peppermint is also the place to be . I loved all the food and cocktails I ordered . The family who own the hotel are very nice , friendly and always willing to help . Really everything unbelievable. The people who work there as Panos is the best staf you can imagine , advising what fresh food to eat in the restaurant and which nice cocktail to drink . Panos is really the best . Also Nicos who works at the peppermint beach is always helping you with a smile and very fast with taking and brining the orders.  Don’t doubt and book this place or go to this very nice beach and beach bar restaurant . Highly recommended.

Really really amazing 

We spent 6 days in this location. Nice apartment for 5 people, garden and pool view. The beach and the sea are fantastic. It seems to be at the Caribbean. Wonderful holidays pure happiness!!! I hope to come back early.

Wonderful location on Plaka beach

After a lovely visit last year to a neighbouring hotel, we decided to revisit Naxos this year & chose Angeliki on the basis of location. We booked a sea view apartment in the winter nearly a year ago & paid a substantial deposit. The booking was eventually confirmed by email, (the online system doesn’t seem to work). Recently I sent an email a few days before arrival to confirm our booking & after looking forward to the trip for a year & spending just shy of 1000 euros on transport, parking, dog sitting etc, we arrived after 2 days travel to be told there was ‘a small problem’ with our booking. The ‘small problem’ was that the room was double booked & 2 ladies were in it instead. We were shown to a room at the rear of the building & told we’d be charged 45 euros but it would be better & quieter as there was a wedding that evening. We were also told we could move into our booked apartment the next day. My husband who is not quick to anger was very unhappy but eventually we accepted the situation & it was agreed we would have the ‘washing line view’ room for free that first night. The next day we waited around untill midday to move but when we were shown the room (having obviously not unpacked the night before) the ladies were nowhere to be seen & obviously not going anywhere. We moved back to the ‘washing view room’ & went to the beach. Later that day, day 2 of 5, I returned to the room & was then encouraged to try again with the booked room, so we finally moved in. The ladies were also apparently unhappy as we were treated to some fairly uncomfortable stares which wasn’t very enjoyable, I wonder what they had booked or if they’d simply walked in off the street? We had 1 good day & night until the next ‘small problem’, a huge wedding. Very happy for them but no sleep was had in the rooms till the wee small hours & another uncomfortable discussion with Stelios. Tomorrow we leave & it’s been an unhappy experience despite noting previous dodgy reviews & trying to ensure all was sorted. The family are nice, work hard & the location is great, but we leave feeling like second class citizens. Not what you save up all year to feel. Our verdict? Lovely if you want to get married or walk in off the street, but be wary of booking in advance. You, your holiday & your booking won’t necessarily be respected & you’re at risk of leaving depressed instead of relaxed. Disappointed.

A ‘small problem’ made us sad & spoilt our holiday....

What is there not to like about this property? It just across the road (track) from the beach. It is modern. It is clean. It has a good size swimming pool and separate children's pool. It has an inexpensive bar and they cook all their own food fresh. Add in a pleasant open air lounge area for chilling out. It would fit firmly in the 3 star category. No frills. Self catering option yes, but in reality apart from a fridge and hot rings there is little else in the room. All rooms are a/c, have balconies, hair dryer & TV. Free wifi across the property. They operate their own sunbeds (3€ day) and deliver drinks and food to your sunbed. Super part of the beach, albeit it is narrow. Walk out either side of the hotel and there are bars, tavernas, a supermarket and ice cream parlour. Want to go into Naxos Town? Bus stop outside (2€). Apart from the location what really makes the hotel are the family. Think in terms of staying with your mates. Nothing is too much trouble. Suitable for couples, singles and families. Don't go expecting luxury and you will be happy to call this your base in Naxos.

Great location | Excellent hospitality | Great value

We stayed here for two nights and loved the proximity to the beach and really good restaurants on Plaka beach. The hotel is family runned and everyone is super smiley. Breakfast was included in our room, and it was a typical Greek breakfast. The restaurant, Peppermint, is also really good.

Most rooms have beach view and balconies. The wifi was a little spotty in the rooms, but worked ok up front. 

The grounds are what makes this hotel. Huge area around the pool that is sea facing and enough lounge chairs. 

Wonderful location on Plaka 

This resort crosses between 3 and 5 stars but anything it lacks is redeemed by the delightful family who run it. Nothing is too much trouble. The food here was close to the best we ate in our 4 weeks in Greece. Mum does the cooking and I told her she needs to start a cooking school. The restaurant and pool area are wonderful and it is a few short steps across the road to the beach where there is an area connected to the resort. They will bring you drinks etc to the beach. You can get a bag of washing done for 10 euros. The rooms are the 3 stars. We had a front room with a balcony which was its saving grace. However, they are clean and serviced daily. We had a small kitchenette which was great to have. It is a 2 euro bus ride, about 20-30 minutes into Naxos Town and the bus runs from 8am till 11pm. We loved staying here and would return if only for Mum's orange cake!

Quirky But Delightful

The good things:
1. Lovely hosts, they will do a lot of things out of the way to make you comfortable.
2. The location on the Plaka beach is probably the best in Naxos
3. The Place beach itself is a wonderful stretch of beach with beautiful sand
4. The swimming pool and the front gardens are lovely.

Well a few things that can be better:
1. The property is a little under prepared to accept guests in mid May. Overall the tourism industry in Naxos starts June onwards. When we stayed the swimming pool was not filled with water.
2. Rooms though good in size and cozy, could be upgraded with better paints and equipment in the kitchenette.
3. The breakfast and the little cafe in the front also opens in June. If you visit in May, food can be a inconvenience.
4. The main town of Naxos is quite far from here. You may need to hire a cab or rent a car to go to the main town.
