Check my review below from 2018. I stayed here again last night and for 1 night you really can't beat this place. Girl on reception was friendly, spoke great English, AC in the room which was great on a hot day, breakfast was fine. Shower and sink worked fine. Towels and basic bar of soap in there. It's no frills but this is a great example of a good Ibis Budget.

If you want a no frills value for money 1 night stopover, this is the place. The only thing I don't like here is the congregation of workmen drinking and smoking on the tables outside the front door, but that's nitpicking and not really the fault of the hotel. Will I be back again? Yes!

Ideale per viaggio di lavoro, buon breakfast buono, si consiglia per step and go south and middle Germany. Very simple but useful for sleeping with a good standard of service but not whiteout job trip

may stay here was ok, i recommend this hotel, breakfast is good with a lot of food, not  top quality but good.
romms are ok, clean, quiet.
Personal of the hotel kind and polite, for the money you get good quality.

Cheap and Good.

The reception was very good when we arrived, spoke very good English.
The room is very basic but good and clean the bed was comfortable but the pillows were as flat as any thing so had to use the 2nd duvet under them to get a little head comfort.

Our stay

25 minutes walk from railway station tucked away in an industrial estate,but this does not detract from the hotel accommodation. Good continental breakfast-if required. Possibly too far from the F1 circuit for the less active person, due to two train journeys required to get to the circuit but ideal if own transport as the hotel is just off the motorway near an exit.

We booked this as a base for visiting Hockenheim for the German Grand Prix.

We were a bit worried about the room size, but with 2 adults, 2 suitcases, 2 rucksacks and a plug-in coolbox we still managed just fine.

It's a budget Hotel so you need to have reasonable expectations, but the whole hotel was clean, there were plenty of plug sockets, the shower was spot on, plenty of parking and the reception staff were always friendly and cheerful. 

The hotel is in an industrial estate so there isn't much within walking distance, though the pasta bar round the corner is amazing for lunch and highly recommended (note they close at 4).

You would be unlikely to stay here without a car and there are Rewe supermarkets within a 10 minute drive and you're not far from several motorways so getting about is really easy.

Ultimately we stayed here for 3 nights and would happily do the same again next year.

Ideal budget base for exploring the region

the hotel is a walk of about 25 minutes from two different stations but as I had stayed there before I knew the way.
It was more reasonable than other hotels in price as there were several events on in the surrounding cities

Good price and service value combination. Easy to get to the hotel. Large parking lot. Rooms always clean. Breakfast all you can eat , really simple but tasty and plentyfull. Really  all good and nice.
