Barbara Scholtz knows to offer her guests a very pleasant stay in an excellent way. She serves a very nice breakfast and with the many restaurants within a short distance on Lindau Island it's not a problem that this facility is not available in Hotel Ebnet.

A comfortable hotel with personal attention and excellent service.

This was a lovely guesthouse set on the outskirts of Lindau.  Although, it is easily accessible on the bus route, you do have to change buses when going into Lindau.  Be careful.....the stop where you change buses is a very short distance from where you originally board the bus -- it is time to change before you realize it!  That being said, the guesthouse was one of the loveliest we have visited  It is in a residential section, but easy to locate.  The staff could not have been more helpful, and the room was absolutely spotless and well decorated  It was located directly behind the reception area and opened onto a small patio in the garden.  Breakfast was delicious -- with eggs "to order".  We had hoped the walk to the lake had been closer, but it was several blocks away and we felt as if we were walking through private property  Parking was OK directly in front of the guesthouse.  I don't recall seeing any restaurants close by that would offer dinner.

Extremely Comfortable Guesthouse

This small hotel is located in a nice area and serves its purpose well. The rooms have a lot of light and they are clean and comfortable. The athmosphere is nice and the service is very good. It was also very quiet and the bed&breakfast type of breakfast was nice (although the selection was limited). The hotel is well kept but it is not a modern design hotel or anything (but that is totally part of the charm!). Wifi was included and it worked very well. 

The price was ok, maybe a bit too high (not much though) for this type of a small hotel. But I have not checked into the Lindau price range in detail, so the price might also be just right. Anyway still a very good choice for anyone who wants his hotels to have a little bit of character. Could definitely book again.

Lovely little bed&breakfast type of hotel

I come this hotel every summer and I always feel this hotel like my home.

Awesome hotel!!! Very cozy and clean. I strongly recommend this hotel.

This was our 2nd visit to this small hotel. We were given a ground floor room which had french windows on to a small terrace which had 2 chairs and a table. Sun loungers were available in the garden. The room was compact but clean and tidy. The bathroom had a shower with a high sided shower tray.
Breakfast was basic but Barbara cooks omelettes fresh when you ask for them.
It costs about 15 euros for a taxi from the railway station to the hotel. Once you arrive you will get a guest card which gives you free travel on the half hourly local buses to the island.
Nothing is to much trouble for Barbara and her son and they give good advise when you need it.
