Very beautiful and spacious rooms, Restaurant food excellent sat on terrace with a group of five.  Family environment or for couples.  Had variety of wines and beers.  I absolutely enjoyed the rustic and homey view around property.  View of Shetland pony farm outside of property.  Arch from parking opens to a beautiful view of the terrace to rooms on the courtyard or indoor stay.  My sister and brother in law have lived in Germany for 15 years and found this Landhaus quite the gem and will definitely be returning!  Pricing was truly reasonable for the region

Found this hotel on Trip advisor and we were not disappointed. Beautiful location, friendly service, nothing too much trouble (we wanted extra pillows and they were there, as if by magic), really excellent food and drink. Just one small downside....although the wireless internet was free, we had to sit in the corridor outside our room to get a connection.

This hotel is located just outside of the pelgrimage city of Kevelaer, in the middle of the countryside. The rooms are spacious and confortable, and the food in the restaurant very decent. When I was there, the weather was beautiful, so we had dinner outside on the terrace. It is very quiet, just the singing of birds is overheard. Even the Ryanair airplanes landing at nearby Weeze airport could only be seen, not heard. I was there for business, but I guess this hotel is ideal for a biking vacation - the surrounding area is very nice : lots of woods and green fields.
The only minor : after breakfast, the hotel was closed by the owners who went back to bed. We had to pay our invoice the evening before (checking out in the morning is impossible), so they assumed that we did not go back to our rooms after breakfast to collect our items. Funny : I had to bang the door of the hotel... to be to leave. Then the maid came rushing out, asking us to be quiet and sneak through the service exit. They do take "peace and quiet" very serious here!
