We were on holiday at the Baltic Sea for the first time and we felt very comfortable in the small guardhouse. Those who are looking for peace but still want to explore the Baltic Sea are at the right address here. By car, for example, Rostock is very fast to reach and even the smaller places such as Saint-Dam and Bad Doberan nearby have a lot to offer. The hostess is very kind and friendly and could give information about various excursion destinations. We liked that it was a loving, family-friendly and clean accommodation. However, our room was a little small, which did not bother us. The breakfast was probably kept a little simple because of Corona, which was the only thing that made us confident.

Vacation in the Baltic Sea

We stayed in the guesthouse of Kleiner Wacholder from 13.09 to 16.09.19 and were constantly satisfied. The room, the bathroom with the equipment was very nice and spacious. At the same time it was very quiet and the stay was almost family friendly. The owners are extremely keen to make it as beautiful as possible for the guests, such as the highly selective breakfast. I like this guesthouse and I recommend it constantly. I can only shake my head about the bad reviews. Thank you very much for the nice stay and many greetings, Marta and Thorsten.

Nice guest house.

It's a nice little boarding house. We really liked it, the rooms have everything you need for a short vacation. The breakfast buffet was very tasty and you also have a nice selection. The owners are very friendly and overall a good price/performance ratio.

Short vacation

We stayed in the guest house for 2 nights. The reception at our arrival was very friendly. Our room was small but cozy. Everything was very clean and tidy. The breakfast buffet had something for every taste, so whoever had to start the day hungry was to blame. The hosts were attentive and friendly at all times. We had rested and would be very happy to come back!

Head out, rest on

The quality of the beds, bathrooms and breakfast buffet were positive. Unfortunately, there was no table in the room to work with the laptop in bad weather and the house is poorly insulated acoustically. Whether showering or chairs/foot noise from the upper rooms - all very loud. At a price of €80, - the night is not acceptable.

Limit value

Positive: + tastefully furnished with Ikea furniture + free parking + quietly located negative: + housekeeping: mobile phone charging is prohibited:D Only a radiator and laptop are allowed to be used + breakfast: heaters such as rice and etc. or no cappuccino are offered because it does not fit into the calculation. But you can find something in the rich buffet + a social room where you may still want to stay in the evening is not available, the terrace at the house can only be lit up until 10 p.m. due to noise protection. + WLAN was not available. Fact: we would no longer sleep here.

Ikea guest house

When we arrived, there was no one on the premises. The house was not specially renovated. The furniture is the cheapest IKEA furniture. After a strenuous day of experience, you are sitting on an uncomfortable wooden folding chair in an unpersonal room. A living room would have been an approach or an indication that you could sit comfortably in the garden again. But there was no one on the premises and all the doors in the house were locked. There was not even room for an unpacked suitcase in the room. A wardrobe was not available. No smoke detector was available, only the corresponding holder. The bed was more of an unbearable place for two grown-ups, but you could sit on the low-floor floor and eat free bread against the greenery.

Under a guest house I imagine something else

I had a very nice stay in the guest house of little Wacholder. The room was very cozy, furnished and there was everything you would expect in a guest house. The breakfast was super delicious and there was everything your heart desired. All in all, it was 16 beautiful days, I'd love to come back.

It's attractive but good.

I really really enjoyed my stay here, I had booked online, and didn't arrive till around 1130 PM, but there was a number for information on how to get into the building. The owner was very helpful and polite, even with the english she did know. Breakfast is included and was very tasty and fulfilling. The room had a good amount of space,very very clean, the bathroom was nice, there wasn't any soap or hairdryer which was just fine. I think really my only complaint is the mirror in the bathroom is very high up, and with me being only 5'2" I wasn't tall enough to see myself lol. Also its not a far drive from the beach at all. My goal for the trip was to save money, relax on the beach, and stay in a comfortable accommodation which all worked out for me.
