This place is fabulous stayed for 4 nights wish it had been longer we had a one bedroom house which was modern and spotlessly clean the pool is great and so peaceful only down side is that if you want to eat out at night you have to drive. We stayed in a couple of nights and cooked and just enjoyed the peace and quiet and the views would definitely come back 

Wow 

Just outside the township of Sarlat is this small property that has a couple of rooms available for tourists. If you have a car, it's a couple of minutes to supermarkets or the old centre of Sarlat. It's a great base for exploring the area. As it isn't part of a hotel, it's very quiet, day and nght. We found it comfortable and convenient and the kitchen usable. We also liked using the outdoor table set up for our suite. A good choice if you have some method of getting in and out of town.

Great, quiet location for those with transport.

Sarlat la Canéda
Sarlat la Canéda is very seriously not to be missed. Its concentration of medieval buildings make it a stunning sight and site for those interested. Although passing through we wanted somewhere comfortable on the last night of our journey across southern France, in this centre of Perigord Noir. The Les 4 Saisons had some of the highest ratings that I've seen for any hotel but at budget prices, well justified. As it was within walking distance of the old centre we booked and found it fairly easily. We were welcomed warmly by Philippe, the owner, and shown to our rooms. There was a terrace with table and chairs outside the French window entrance. The room was absolutely immaculate and very clean and well decorated. Philippe showed us the separate bedroom available for those with children and the separate bathroom and WC, all beautifully presented. He also gave us details of the WiFi code and a short cut back into town.
We almost decided not to bother with supper back in town as the terrace and the land surrounding Les 4 Saisons is so beautiful and peaceful ( apart from the singing frogs in springtime). The next morning we were treated to a very warm welcome from Madam Brouard, Pascale, and a lovely breakfast including her own home made jams. 
The Les 4 Saisons is beautifully situated on a quiet road close to Sarlat. Ideal for families with children as well as couples when the centre of Sarlat might be far too busy in the height of summer. You will have a very warm welcome from the Brouards who are a great example of how it all should be done. The only warning I would give is that they don't take credit or debit cards so have cash or a cheque for payment.

Peaceful fire within walking distance of Medieval Sarlat

We stayed at the 4 Saisons for 1 night in October.  It is located very close to Sarlat, and a large grocery store is at the end of the street.  The old town section of Sarlat is very nice, with lots of restaurants and shops.  The owners of the 4 Saisons don't speak much English, but they are very friendly and patient, so it is not a problem.  For a very reasonable price, we got a two story apartment.  Downstairs is a fully equipped kitchen, TV, table and clothes washer.  The clothes washer was a real plus, since we were on the road in France and Spain for 3 weeks.  Upstairs are two bedrooms and a nice bathroom.  Everything is very clean and new.  For those so inclined, they have a beautiful pool for use by their guests.  The optional breakfast was served by our hosts, and it was very good.  I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Charming place to stay

We stayed in  the studio gite which was perfect for the two of us, with a double bed, table & 4 chairs and all kitchen appliances, including a dishwasher plus en suite bathroom.  The gite is in a beautiful, rural setting just 2 kms from Sarlat Le Caneda centre, a lovely medieval town. There is  use of the large warm swimming pool, which we had mostly to ourselves and our outside terrace area was ideal for our al fresco meals. Phillipe & Pascale, the owners, were very pleasant.  We would stay here again.
