Siblu Le Conguel is a great Siblu. Wonderful location, facilities and friendly helpful staff. The swimming pool complex and slides are great. Snack bar food is delicious. Little shop is surprisingly well stocked and not too expensive. Sports area good too with two pitches, table tennis and tennis.  Good bar too that serves coffee/breakfast on a balcony in the morning and does it’s own flavoured runs in the evening, alongside the football.  The accommodation is standard siblu - nice large balcony outside cabin. Access to the beach and the beautiful Quiberon peninsula is great and we had a wonderful time exploring swimming canoeing finding shells on the beach etc.  We had a packed week and could have easily filled another.

Only small points to quibble with - the cabins here are much closer together than at other Siblus, I suspect because this camp is so popular.  So be aware that other than your balcony you don’t really have any outside space at your cabin. We also ordered the linen pack as well as towels - and I don’t think the team were used to that. So it was a bit of a battle to get that pack, including a late call to their duty staff when it still hadn’t turned up! In fairness the duty staff came and fixed it with a smile. 

Overall a great Siblu. We would definitely return!

A lovely holiday

During my offseason (beginning of Sept) trip I paid over 30Euros a night - just with a small tent. Usage of pool area was very limited (outdoor completely closed - indoor closed at 17.45) - shops all closed. Nice campground but just limited use of the facilities possible!

high prize camping - limited use

We loved this campsite. Wonderful location; we were lucky enough to have a sea view from our terrace; beach just across the road. We spent plenty of time in the pools - one undercover and warm, and the other considerably colder outdoor pool - as well as playing on the water slides. It’s quite a small site which was perfect for us, but big enough for the children to explore. I would definitely go back here. 
The evening entertainment didn’t appeal that much to us, but that might just be us; we were happy sitting on the terrace playing cards!
Loved it here and we were very sad to leave. 

Wonderful family week away

We stayed with our touring caravan (white area on map) July/August 2019 and had a lovely, enjoyable time. It is in a good position opposite the beach with a short walk to the harbour and a slightly longer walk into Quiberon. 
The reception staff and life guards are lovely, smiling, helpful and polite. The girl in the bar ignored us sometimes and was on occasion rude to us, opting to serve French speaking people before us even as they’d just walked in through the door.
Our touring pitch was fully serviced and was an OK size, fitting on the caravan, awning and car. We had just enough room left to fit 4 camp chairs on. Most pitches are shaded which was a welcome relief in our first week of a heatwave. We tripped the electric box once and the friendly maintenance man came to rectify it within half an hour. Some pitches need a 2 pin plug adapter.
Friends stayed in a static caravan (pink area on map) and could only just fit their car next to it due to the close proximity of other cars, caravans and bushes. Their caravan was lovely and seemed fairly new.
I would have given this site 5 stars if there had been more toilet/shower blocks. They were clean and tidy, however the women had 3 toilets and 4 showers for the whole of the site. There are 25 camping pitches who have to use the toilets/showers, but many static caravan people also use them. There is no hand basin or soap in the men’s toilets, but there is in the women’s? Very unhygienic. At the pool toilets also there is no hand basin or soap!!
We definitely would return to this site if they continue to take campers. Since Siblu has taken over I believe 50 pitches have been lost to statics. Official Siblu people were wandering around the camping area whilst we were there. Maybe next year it might all be statics which will be a shame.

Nice site, would visit again.

Great site right on the beach front. Accommodation was clean and well equipped. Pool complex was great with one indoor heated pool and one outdoor some what colder pool. Loads of sun-loungers also around the pool. Onsite shop was ok, with fresh baguettes every day. Opening and closing times of the bars and restaurant was not clearly indicated and also on certain days would only offer a themed menu, that said the food was good. 
Great sandy beach was a only 2 min walk. The main town was a 40 min walk away.
The site was quite noisy during the day as next to a small air strip in the evening the was noise from traffic, cyclist and pedestrians out on coast road. 
The drive from Calais was a long one of between 7-8 hrs but load of rest areas along the way. 
Overall a great site and worth a visit. 


Summer 2019

This campsite is clean, well organised, and the setting is superb with the beach just across the road and the town a short drive or bus ride away. It is isolated enough, at the end of le point conguel, to feel close to nature, but within minutes of the busier town. We have returned several times to this site and each year there seem to have been improvements. Would highly recommend.

Very good family site

The campsite is small and rustic. It's very different from typical eurocamp/keycamp sites. It's great if you want a quiet holiday- the scenery is beautiful with miles of sandy beaches, rock pools and lovely walks along the coastline. You can hire bikes which I would recommend and you can ride to the harbour and the centre of quiberon. The caravan was modern and had nice decking overlooking the beach. There's an indoor pool which was great as the weather was unpredictable. There wasn't a huge amount of entertainment but I'm not sure if this was because it was low season still. 
Overall it's a nice quiet break for families 

Visited June 2017 

Really enjoyed our stay here. Excellent facilities in a beautiful place. There was plenty of entertainment in the bar each night, the pool is large and well maintained. We were disappointed with the amenities actually in our caravan which lacked some essentials like an oven, decent bedding, towels and kitchen utensils. All in all a wonderful campsite and will be back! 

Excellent stay

I have been coming here for over 20 years now.  Extremely helpful staff and a great location. Town is a 10 minuet bike ride down a cycling path with the beach directly oposite. Mainly French visitors which I like.  More your proper rustic french feel and not your large tour operator type complex although they have invested a lot of money of late and updated the pool area and now also have an indoor pool and water slides as well.


Camping in a camper van

as a family we have stayed at this campsite for quite a number of years.  This season has seen major improvements under new management and the site has a very fresh feel about it.
The accommodation is clean comfortable and facilities and position (virtually across the road from a beach, which at low tide provides numerous rock pools) provide most of what you need for a relaxing holiday with ( in July and August at least) a friendly bar, children's entertainment and an indoor and outdoor pool with slides, etc..
My only fault is with the shower in the caravan we hired.  This had obviously seen better days but I understand vans are replaced at least every 12 years and age is taken into account with the price you pay.
