This was our first trip to Paris and our stay at Hotel Saint Germain was exactly what we hoped for.  The location was great and we could walk everywhere we wanted to go.  The staff exceeded our expectations with every request.  The breakfast was small but more than enough.  We will be excited to stay here once again when we return to Paris.

Perfect for First Trip to Paris

I have visited Paris 10 times. This time, I came with a friend of mine. We were both celebrating birthdays. All of our days were early morning tours outside of the city. We both found the hotel a very good selection for our needs. The hotel staff was the absolute best part. The room was everything we wanted and needed. The breakfast was good and the internet worked! Location is everything and this one was in a great spot. And....the beds are very comfortable.

Great location, Great service, Just stay here

We were very happy with our stay at the Hotel Saint Germain. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful-and spoke, I think, a total of 7 or 8 languages!The rooms were small but very charming, and the location can't be beat. Breakfast was excellent, too, as was our view of the street-we would absolutely stay here again and recommend it for other travelers!

Cozy and hospitable

This was the second time we met our family in Paris and stayed at "our" hotel, and we can't wait to return. The location is superb, in a friendly area with lots of nice restaurants and shopping. It is close to the Montparnasse tower, so we use that as a guide home in the evenings. It is also close to three marta stations. The rooms are clean and the staff is amazing. We are already planning our return trip.

Love "our" hotel in Paris

Chose this place through TripAdvisor and it did not disappoint. We are a family of 4, stayed at a suite with kids age 9 and 6. The beauty of this hotel is the location, cleanliness and the best staff. I cannot express my gratitude to the wonderful hotel personnel- Michael, Wissem,  Nataly and everybody who made are 6day stay truly wonderful. Place is in center of Paris. With kids in tow we were able to walk through NotreDame, Musee D’Orsay, Louvre. A block away (5-10 min leisure walk) to the Metro. If we don’t have our kids, we’ll probably walk thru Eiffel Tower.  I love the quaint charm of the hotel, our room and walking home at night (bet 9-12pm) with my children was secure and did not feel unsafe. The block itself has great restaurants, patisserie, a supermarket and pharmacy. Bathroom and bed are comfortable. Hotel location at center, but stays quiet at night. We availed breakfast buffet and it was decent and substantial, enjoyed their coffee. As we leave Paris, we have nothing but all great and wonderful memories of this hotel. As my children say, this hotel should be 5 stars! 

We love Saint Germain!!

We come to Paris and celebrate our Wedding Anniversary at Hotel Saint Germain each year!  We married on Valentine's Day, 3 years ago, and we love the hotel, the people, the BREAKFAST, and the location ... walking distance to Musee d'Orsay!   Our favorite hotel and our favorite museum.  

We were just there, and the staff went out of their way to "welcome us home."  They even do a survey pre-arrival, to identify what they might do to make it a special stay.

It is a very good choice for a stay in Paris. In particular, the personnel is kind, polite and very competent. Rooms are a bit small, but this is acceptable for this price in Paris, and they are kept clean and functional.

Great stay in Paris

Can not fault the hotel at all, beautiful, clean rooms, friendly, helpful, welcoming staff and a wonderful breakfast. My only problem is we didn't stay long enough. The hotel is within walking distance of everything. No noise from the street below, we had an amazing sleep both nights. Highly recommended.

A terrific hotel. The rooms are wonderful. Staff at the front desk and housekeeping are kind and very helpful. The breakfast is yummie!!! The hotel is totally clean and first rate. The hotel is located on a great street with grocery stores and restaurants.

My husband, 17 year old daughter and I stayed at Hotel Saint Germain for 3 enjoyable nights. We had adjacent rooms which were nicely decorated, bed was comfy and room was clean. The location is great, within walking distance to the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, and Notre Dame. We added breakfast and while continental it was quite substantial and good. The staff are very nice and accommodating, arranging drivers and recommending places to eat. Would stay here again.
