Charming hotel with a modern flair in the rooms. Clean and comfortable beds. Wonderful location in a quiet little town.  The staff are very welcoming and helpful. Very nice dinner with the chef helping us understand the personally.  Delightful place to stay!

The welcome is just as warm, the food just as good and the room very comfortable . What more could you want all with great service . Such a lovely quiet location to enjoy a glass of wine in the bar or on a sunny day the terrace

Another great stay

Stayed in one of the triple rooms, it is on two levels and really nice and spacious. Room was clean, nice shower room, all very good. Breakfast was wonderful, restaurant area really French and well decorated. Staff really friendly and helpful, Jeremy and Cedrik both had the time to chat to us. We did not eat at the restaurant but friends staying there did and said the set meal was wonderful.

We stayed at the hotel for 1 night. Dinner was one of the best meals that I have ever had in France, and great value at the price of 25 Euro for the set menu. The wine suggested by the owner was also perfect. The day we arrived was a very hot day, and the room we had (over 2 levels) was very warm, as the double bed was in the attic, and we did not sleep well. A fan would have been very helpful. Also, the hotel is on the main road through the village, so there was a lot of  noise from passing cars, as our room faced the road. Our friends had a room overlooking the back of the restaurant, and it was much quieter and cooler at night. If we were in the area again, we would definitely return to eat at the restaurant.

amazing food......

The only reason to book into this 'hotel' is because it's in the middle of nowhere but has a restaurant - perfect for peace and quiet perhaps? Unfortunately, this isn't the case. 
It's not enough to be a guest in one of the 6 rooms to secure a table for dinner, phoning the same day of arrival is too late - you'll need to book days in advance for that 'pleasure'. 
The restaurant bar is open til late and the noise from drunken patrons carries, particularly when they cross the road to relieve themselves against the wall opposite. The other continual noise throughout the night is that of cars passing on the D17 and, from about 6AM onward, stopping at the epicierie next door.
It's quite clear that the focus of the owners is on the restaurant given the scant facilities afforded in the rooms, no TV for instance and not even a fan to cool the overheated and stuffy rooms. The interesting point that the floors are parquet is mentioned on the booking.com site, but they're not, just plain old laminate, poorly installed.
With the beauty and calm of the Burgundian countryside all around, it's a shame that this piece of Paris has been plonked down where it has. 
Dreadful experience all round.
