We have stayed on this campsite for many years, this year the first in a cabin. We find the campsite clean, very well run and in the most beautiful surroundings close to town, with great walks and cycling. There is also now a swimming pool on site. It provided everything we needed to be comfortable. It was very peaceful in September, the bar was closed but we did not mind that. We will continue to stay here again. 

Wonderful campsite in beautiful surroundings

Be sure to park in the small carpark on the left adjacent to the entrance on arrival, we did not and incurred the ire of the reception manager! At 43ft we filled the carpark... You pick your own pitch on arrival. They are spacious, some have more shade than others, it can be quite tight to turn down the avenues on the one way system if you are long. Central hub with washing up, showers etc and laundry is kept clean and tidy. Site is quiet at night. Bar is quite expensive but the site is well situated to visit town which is lovely. Pool area is clean, plenty of loungers, not too many shades and the surround is hotter than the surface of the sun underfoot later in the day. Nice bread and pastry service. Site well situated for MTB and road biking, municipal pool a two min walk away, good value for money (cash only). Would likely visit again. You will receive a 10% discount voucher for La Romanche from reception - worth a visit. 

Beautiful Bourg l'Oisan

The campsite is nice, all the facilities are fine and very clean. There are not a lot of spots with sun so it can be quite cold during the whole day due to the amount of trees. There is a lot of noisy during the whole day. Starting in the morning with cars passing by in the afternoon entertainment which stops around 11 pm. Also a lot of camping visitors keep making noise after 11 pm. Our spot was at the entrance of the camping so maybe it is more quite in the back of the camping.

Lovely little campsite in a beautiful area of the Alpes. All staff friendly and helpful 😊 Nearby town really nice with plenty of cafes, restaurants, gift and bike shops.

Facilities on campsite were very clean but could do with a little updating.

Pitches were spacious, some more private than others, but again, very clean and well appointed.

Bar and games area great, lots to do for all ages 😊

Pool was lovely - surface was very painful to walk on in bare feet though!

Would definitely return.

Lovely campsite, perfect for Alpe d’Huez

Avoid this site at all costs. The manager of the site is one of the rudest and abrupt people I have ever come across. We arrived after the check in office had closed which we had made sure to let them know we would be arriving late. ( approximately 7.30pm). The next morning we received a note on the chalet door explaining that a deposit would need to be payed before 7pm. I had left to go on a long bike ride and left my 2 sons on the site. I was planning on paying the deposit when I got back to the site once the office had opened. Instead I arrived back around 4.30pm to be told that the manager had approached my 2 sons shouting and pointing at them telling them they must go and pay the deposit or they shall pack there things and leave by the next morning. My sons were left feeling shaken up by the man’s utter rudeness and anger. My son had tried explaining to him that his dad had the credit card with him that was used to book the chalet which would also be used to pay the deposit. This was all around 4pm which was way before the 7pm time that had been given to pay the deposit. My son was made to go and pay the €250 deposit from his own card which left him with no money left in his bank due to only having spending money. We then checked out on Tuesday 27th June at 7am making sure that we told the office the day before that we would be leaving early. It is now the 30th June and he still hasn’t received his deposit back. The woman working on the office phone is telling us that the deposit was given back that day on check out. Which is impossible considering we wasn’t there. I have also sent 2 emails with the bank statements showing the deposit hasnt been given back, which she requested!. After reading other reviews and seeing that this is a common thing it is clear to see that this site is a scam and they prefer to keep your deposit and not get back in touch with you. This site is one to avoid! 

AVOID THIS SITE!!!

This was a welcome respite between forays into the local mountains where I stayed at mountain refuges. The cabins are self-catering but all equipment is provided. Each cabin has a veranda and you can hire sheets. You have to pay a 250 euro refundable deposit to prevent you trashing the place or stealing things, and you have to clean the cabin before leaving or else pay a 50 euro fine, which certainly made me keep things spick and span.

Comfy Cabins near town Centre

Excellent campsite and perfectly placed for road cycling trips. The campsite was quiet, clean and friendly, and a 10 minute walk into the center of Bourg d'oisans. The swimming pool is also free to enter

Campsite Le Colporteur

We enjoyed our stay and the campsite is good. However we were very disappointed to be charged 70 Euros cleaning charge which we did not believe was justified. 2 photos were provided which showed very minimal failure and did not justify the charge which we felt was not warranted or fair.

Bourg d’Oisans Rental

A brilliant campsite situated in the heart of Bourg D`oisans & close to some iconic cycling climbs that we were in the area for. Wonderful scenery for walking, cycling & other outdoor activities. Friendly, helpful staff & a nice restaurant/bar. Good wash room facilities. When we were there we were just out of season so it was quiet which was nice. Will defiantly be returning.

Everything was perfect, staff super friendly and helpful

The kitchen is well equipped, with gas stove, microwave and a large fridge. 
Perfect for us.
