My husband & I stayed at this charming guest house for two nights during our grand tour of France. Firstly I must say the host, Armelle, was friendly and very welcoming. Our room was on the third floor (Blue Room) and whilst not overly spacious, it was well appointed and spotlessly clean. The Guest House is old (typical for Blois) and slightly quirky but beautiful. It is ideally placed within Blois for exploring the town - new & old - with a payable car park immediately opposite, literally a few steps away. A quality breakfast was served with lots of choice, lovely to have muesli and fresh fruit in addition to the usual French breakfast offerings. All in all, a lovely stay.

A Charming Guest House

We stayed at the Au 16 Place Saint Louis for only one night. The Building is located right opposite of the church and looks pretty low-key from the outside. But inside Armelle has created a beautiful place. We had the top room which is just wonderful. Great decor, high quality bedding and a very nice view. Breakfast was simply delicious and made with so much attention to detail. Homemade yogurt, cake, jam but also cheese and fruits - simply delicious.
Armelle is a super nice host and told us, that it has always been her dream to have a B&B. And this is how it feels. 100% recommendation, we would def go there again when in the region.

Very nice B&B with the best breakfast

We stayed here for 3 nights and couldn’t fault this accommodation. Excellent location right opposite the cathedral which is beautifully lit at night, wonderful views across the city. Charming room: large comfy bed, well appointed bathroom with huge shower. Philippe & his wife were superb hosts giving us fantastic recommendations for restaurants for dinner. Breakfast was absolutely divine, so much delicious produce to choose from and taken in an elegant dining room. Overall a real treasure at a very good price which ended a wonderful holiday.

Perfect B&B

This beautiful hotel on Place St Louis is home to the most gracious host.  Philipe welcomed us into his home as if we were family in June 2016.  Our family of four were given lovely rooms decorated with care.  My husband and I had a lovely view of the Loire River and the bridge that spans across to the village.  Philipe made an excellent recommendation for our dinner that night which turned out to be our favorite meal of our 3-week trip in France.  Philipe - who is fluent in English - was most patient with us as my husband and I tried our hand at our rusty French and my 16 year old daughter, a Spanish student, and my 14 year old son, a French student, tried theirs.  We wanted to truly feel immersed in the culture and Philipe accommodated us beautifully.  He prepared a spectacular breakfast feast for us complete with eggs to order, croissants, fresh fruit, yogurt, pancakes with apple compote,....  Philipe spoiled us as he answered our many questions about life France and his own family.  By the time we left we were sad we were not staying longer!  We will definitely go back to stay at 16 Place St Louis to spend more time in Blois and the Loire Valley.

Storybook Loire Valley Home with Most Gracious Host

Monsieur is very welcoming and helpful. Our room was very small but well air conditioned. Breakfast is delicious with most of the food home produced. Nothing is too much trouble for the owner. He helped us with luggage (the stairs are steep) and was very friendly.
The hotel is ideally situated for the sights of the town and we can recommend a visit to the nearby Basilica of the Holy Trinity which is a short walk away.
We had no problem with parking. It is free on Sundays in the paying park opposite the hotel and free just a short walk from the hotel.

Beautifully situated facing the Cathedral of St Louis

This property was hard to find but so worth the trouble. We finally asked someone to help us. It is located across from the church (Saint Louis) and the parking lot is available for hotel guests. Very clean, great service, within walking distance of Chateau Blois and delicious breakfast. Safe quiet area.

Hidden gem in Blois

A good place to sleep in a characteristic building, just three rooms. Everything is complete and the owner has good focus on the customer. Breakfast is (over)complete and very enjoyable!
Value for money if you ask me. Restaurants plenty in the area.
