I stayed here for four nights and I really enjoyed my stay. Stephan and Anne was very friendly, informative, and helpful in making all the arrangements for my stay. The apartment had big window with wonderful views of Quito. I personally enjoyed sitting out on the small balcony and taking in some of the city views and sounds. The room was clean and well thought out with everything you could possibly need in the room. You could tell that Stephan really thought about everything a traveler could need in their trip. I'd highly recommend a stay here for anyone visiting Quito. Also, the location was excellent with a 5 minute walk to the Plaza Foch and 35 minute walk to the Historical City Center.

Wonderful place with a view

We (a couple) stayed for 4 nights in B&B del Cielo. Our host Stephan (from Germany) is a perfect host. He speakes German, English and Spanish (and maybe more languages). He arranged a pick-up from the airport. He knows the city very well and can give you good advice about what to do. The B&B is an appartment on the 13th floor with a great view. You have your own bedroom with double bed, fridge, safe, beamer/tv and you own badroom and toilet. The appartment is very clean. The location is perfect, less then 5km from Plaza Foch, with many restaurants and bars. But don't forget the streets north of the building, there are also many good restaurants.

We recommend this B&B and would come back if we visit Quito again.

Great place with a fabulous view

Stephan was a phenomenal host! He was so helpful with any my needs. The appartment has a great location within walking distance to many places. Breakfast was good, free fruit in a room. I am gonna stay there again when I come back to Quito. Totally recommend

Fabulous place

I was between a 3 and 4 on this review for a few reasons. First here are the pros: good location, nice manager, good breakfast, new modern large apartment, hot showers.
While they are several pros, there are a few things that could use improvement.
1- wifi - it's fast and good but they don't give out the wifi password for security reasons. I understand this but it caused some issues when our phone would drop the connection and we would then have to email the host to get back online. Finally he did give us the password which was helpful. I would recommend giving the password to guests and then changing it after each stay for security. That would be a better experience for guests.
2- Breakfast- there is no breakfast served on Sundays. This was made clear upon arrival from the host which was appreciated. My issue is that if it is called a bed and breakfast, I think you should offer it everyday. Maybe something easy & self service for Sundays like cereal.

Overall we had a nice stay and our host was very helpful and friendly. I would recommend this place to people to stay as the location is right next to the Foch area for good restaurants and bars, but far and high enough up that it is very quiet at night.

Please note that the bathroom is listed as private and while it is because  you are the only one that uses it, it is not connected to the room. (at least for the room we stayed in at the far end of the apartment)

Good location, small beds.

for all who are intereted in stay in: 
the room was really nice and confortable, everything clean. the bathroom is private and has a nice shower. Wifi works really fast :D :D !!!
you can have a really good cup of coffee for breakfast with bread and eggs!. 
they have a small terrace where you can have a drink with a really nice view of the city. the location es very safe and close tu plaza Foch! :D
the owner is a very nice anfitrion, who help us with everything we need during our stay! we knows the city really well.
Highly recommended.
