Kind people, the place is comfortable and you have entire contact with nature. The place is near to the downtown, perfect to stay in peace. 
Near (At Mindo Lago), you can go to hear frogs concert and walk in forest at night where you will enjoy spider, snakes and many kind of frogs. 

Fantastic place in Mindo! Only 10 mins walk from the center of the town, the cabanas were a wonderful choice to relax in the beautiful garden/jungle, with a rich history and wonderful owner, Willi. Breakfast made by him is superb. I wish we could stay there few more days.

Place was perfect, Willy is the man and will hook you up with a hot breakfast, coffee and amazing juice every morning along with sick travel advice!

Hot water, comfy beds and the sound of the surrounding forest to get you to sleep every night, would definitely recommend!!

Las Luciernagas is about a 5 min walk from town.  It is close enough to town that you can quickly walk to town for whatever you need but is far enough away that it's very quiet and all you hear at night are the sounds of the cloud forest. The owner Willy is exceptionally helpful and accommodating.  He always asked me how My day had been and if there was anything I needed. My trip was to go birdwatching in the cloud forest and Willy was able to provide great information on where I could go on my own and had information about birding guides. I enjoyed the birding and my stay as Las Luciernagas so much that I extended my stay 4 additional nights. The cabanas are clean and comfortable and wifi works great.  The cabanas are in a tranquil setting with lots of beautiful trees and shrubs, many of which were flowering.  It was very nice to come back from a day of hiking to sit on the deck, relax and watch the birds in the gardens around my cabana.  I hope to come back soon!

Beautiful lodge in the forest just outside the main part of town in Mindo. Really quiet and peaceful, the only noise being that of nature.
Nice and cosy little cabanas.
Host was very welcoming and helpful. 
Wifi worked really well considering the location.
