avoid this place, even if you get a cheap offer, room like a shoebox, mold smell, all of this will doesn,t matter if you can rest, but NOT!!!, definitely this place is absolutely noisy, the only way to sleep is with ear plugs but i doubt it because the lights from the other room come from a semi dark window on the Wall plus more light from the hallway, bathroom like a mouse trap with no hot wáter, this place is always open with nobody in charge or guarding the door, so you were advised

Stay here for 3 nights , I was sick and have to recover before to get in Guayaquil . It's ok but it's a lot of noise . People yelling and walking over the place at 3 am and 6 am, somebody tried to open our room at 1 am and nobody in charge said anything . Rooms are big and clean . Bathroom smelled weird . 

So so 

We stayed two nights at this place. Our room number 4 had no Windows to get fresh air. All the humidity of the shower stays in the room. There is mildew in the room and the bathroom. Our bathroom was tiny and it takes  very long until you get any warm water in the shower. Our towels stayed wet for the whole two days. The clothes left in the room and the bed linen got humid as well. We would not stay there anymore.

We arrived into Banos late evening and was tired. We picked this place because it was close to the bus terminal and because a woman showed us a quad room and said she could give it to us for 15USD/night (bargain!).

However, when we went to check in and do all the paperwork - the reception said the rate would be 20USD. They also said the woman that showed us the room didn't work for them. At this point, said woman had also disappeared and we could not get her. After much discussion, we managed to get the room for 15USD but the following night would cost 20USD. We reluctantly agreed but couldn't help but feel a little tricked.

On leaving, the first woman who showed us the room magically appeared and checked us out! Unbelievable.

AVOID. You don't need the stress and dishonesty in your lives.
