La Punta is a beautiful aparthotel where I have spent January through March for the last twelve years. It is central, quiet and spotlessly clean. The administrator and staff are like family and the thought of being there fills my heart with joy. I highly recommend a stay at the family friendly La Punta

Winter home

The location of the hotel was great. The rooms were clean but very outdated. The restaurant onsite is closed and very dangerous if you have children, there were many Canadians and they made it known  where they were from and that they were in charge of the place, we found it strange and somewhat uncomfortable. We would not rebook, there are many other nicer places with more hospitality.

Nice Location

Love this place, very quiet and beautiful, excellent maintained and so friendly staff.
We will come back.  
The apartment is very nice and comfortable, you have all you need in it. All works perfectly. 
I recommend the owners do not work with local market, spoiled the place over weekends. They are so noisy people, lack of respect and classy.
Hope we can come back very soon.

Best getaway ever

Great place to stay!  The appartment is very clean, the staff is very nice and very helpful.  They went out of their way to help us.  The pool was clean and had a lot of chairs for everyone.  I would definitetly stay there again!

Great Staff!

Very nice, clean and comfortable apartments with beach view, a small pool, great restaurants nearby (especially "Otra Cosa"), supermarket on the corner, the beach on a walking distance and the staff is very friendly! We loved this place and had a great time!

Great place for a great price!

Can't say enough wonderful things about this place. The location is great, the views are wonderful and the staff is incredible, they make you feel like family. It's a small apartment rental place with only 12 units, so it's never crowded and it's located close to all the main beach areas.

Great way to spend a week!

Trying to plan our week vacation in the DR, & struggled to find a decent place to stay for a good price. Suddenly remembered this place, & was able to book a room no problem. Wish they had told us that they do not accept credit cards, only cash (US or DOP), but thankful we had brought enough cash anyways.

The room had a spectacular view of the grounds, and ocean. Small kitchen equipped with cooking pots & pans; 4 gas burners, sink & fridge/freezer; as well as dishes, utensils, & coffee maker.

Spacious living/dining room with large table; 2 couches & TV with cable. Large bedroom with an equally large closet space (& hangers); safe; & plenty of windows. AC works, but not very well, so don't depend on that.....anyways, you get a pretty rad ocean breeze.

The pool was lovely for a change from the beach...but if the sea is calm, the small ocean pool in front of the hotel is nice for a dip (& protected by the reef, so you don't get dragged out to sea). Will definitely stay here again.

Great stay!

A nice apartment complex at the far end of the surfers' beach in Cabarete. The apartments feature a king size bed-room and a living room with kitchenette (no breakfast included). 
Two sofas in the living room can be turned into beds as well. The style is clean and functional. 
There is one bathroom per apartment, good water pressure and hot water always guaranteed.

Free wifi. 

A number of apartments don't have much of a view, so you should make your wishes known when booking the place. 

The block has a small but sufficient pool and is set in a green garden overlooking the ocean, but not the surfers' beach. You can access the latter with a short climb over the rocks at high tide, otherwise by walking in the surf. If you turn the other way, a miles long beach is all yours to walk or swim. It can be windy there. 

Very friendly management and service personnel. 

We booked for 70$ per night, which is absolutely an excellent deal. As typical for the region, cash payments only.
