Had a great opportunity recently to spend time with some Danish friends at the campsite attached to Danhostel Nykobing sjaelland. We didn't need to go near the Hostel at all as the campsite had everything we required. There were 5 shelters in total plus a communal dining/gathering spot. The camp facilities were perfect for our needs, we had running water, toilets, BBQ facilities, camp fire area and of course the shelters. We had pre-booked the shelters so there were no others staying on the grounds at that time which was good as we were making plenty of noise! TIP: Bring warm clothes to sleep in, the shelters are open and it got cold at night. As camping experiences go it had everything we needed. If you are looking for luxury go to a hotel, but if you feel like spending some time in an nice grass clearing surrounded by forest (plenty of wood for the campfire), this is for you!
