Our family of five adults from the USA visited beautiful Branna in search of our ancestors' homeland in the Czech Republic. Our stay at the RELAX CENTRUM KOLSTEJN included three comfortable rooms that were spotlessly clean/quiet and excellent meals provided by the NA KAOVARNE restaurant. The staff graciously accommodated my health problem by storing ice packs in the hotel freezer.  And my daughter and I enjoyed the wellness spa which helped ease my pain. 
Branna is simply beautiful with amazing views of the mountains. Best of all, my brother (a Catholic priest) celebrated mass in the little church in nearby Ostruzna where our great-grandfather was baptized. And, we were able to locate the property were he lived until immigrating to the USA in 1869. It was a great adventure that we will never forget made all-the-more comfortable by our hosts. We highly recommend RELAX CENTRUM KOLSTEJN and NA KAOVARNE!

Cozy, comfortable while in search of our ancestor...

We have visited the relax centre in November 2014. Good costumer service in the hotel reception, spa and massage. The interior is clean but little bit too basic. We could hear every single word from other room and their TV set was probably on the wall behind our heads. So we asked to be moved to different room. It was done promptly and the second room was just quiet and even with nicer view. We had a package with breakfast, lunch and dinner. The breakfast room is located in the same building as the accommodation. Simple but sufficient. The restaurant which is next to the hotel building (30 seconds walk) is cosy with fire place and nice little square views. But the food is very average. Tasteless and sometimes overcooked. I believe for most of the clients there its ok. Unfortunately we are used to very high quality food. So still rate this hotel as very good. If you don't care too much about food and are after great spa, massage and nice countryside its great.

Great spa and massage

In the midle of nature and area with rich history is quite newly reconstructed 3*hotel .Advantages- great spa and incredible private spa,good restaurant with own brewery,helpful staff,close to mountain peaks and Jesenik city,nature,situated in reconstructed village center,great for relax weekend or week in nature .weekneses- small and cold swimming pool without relax zone, we had room where we can hear everything from room next to ours,whole region is slowly rising from hard times after WW2-vilages are not like in Austria, a little untidy, nearly each third house is empty or demaged.But square in Branná village where is also hotel is charming

Hotel I visited as part of a business trip. Hotel is located in the center of the village, near several ski resorts. Accommodation is spacious and clean rooms with views of the valley or square, away from all the noise. The bathroom is clean with separate wc. The downside is the hotel bed width, 80 cm.
One floor is used for wellness world, which is absolutely amazing. several sauna cabins, a large common sauna, a variety of showers, relaxation zone, etc.
On the ground floor you can use private wellness and saltwater pool.
The hotel restaurant is located in the annex building about 20m away from the hotel. Food in the restaurant is good. Definitely recommend to taste the local beer Bran a little excursion to a local brewery.
Staff are helpful and happy to fulfill your every wish.
