I have never in my life walked out of somewhere. I have stayed at hostels all over the world, campsites, caravans and everything in between. I have never before walked out of somewhere. The staff were unprofessional on entering, with all shirtless and a little boy running around with the phone. We were put in a 10bed room when we booked a smaller room. The bunk beds were 1 inch apart with no room to even climb to the top bunk, let alone the fact you'd be sharing a bed with the person in the adjacent bed. Loose electrical wires, and incomplete walls meaning the place is unsafe and security is lax. I would rather sleep on the bench than stay here for one night. Save your money and time and go elsewhere.

WALKED OUT AFTER 10 MINUTES

Very very bad place. Dirty, unprofessional, broken furniture, etc etc. Run by jokers. Very poor atmosphere. Pics advertised and what was offered was different. I would never stay here again. Bad bad bad.

Do not stay here!!

Terrible place to stay. Unprofessionally run. Very low budget. Broken beds, dirty bathrooms, just read all the other reviews. This place needs to be shut down. Pictures do not show the story. Very bad!!

Terrible hostel, do not stay here!!

Dirty, broken beds, messy, etc etc. Look at all the other reviews. This is a shame they are allowed to stay open. Nothing is nice about the hostel or people running it. Please stay away from here, please. 

Terrible hostel!!!

Things are so bad here, that they change the Hostel name every few years. Very very poor management, rude employees, dirty, etc etc. Just read the other 90% of the reviews that all say the same things. We can't all be lying. They need to shut this place down. Shame on the owners, Shame!!!!!!!!!!

Do not stay here!!!!!

Where do I begin. The worst hostel ever. Rude employees, cold showers, toilet did not flush, poor people (guests) had to sleep on the floor, dirty atmosphere, etc. etc. I would not recommend this hostel to anyone. Very very bad experience. 

Worst hostel ever!!!!!

The list of things that are wrong here abound: from poor toilets, cold showers, rude employees,dirty surroundings, poorly behaved guests, this place i really suggest you avoid! One of the worst Hostelling experiences!! 

Worst hostel ever

This hostel is defintely illegally running, because the condition was so bad, over-charged me, and the whole family sleep on the balcony. The room condition was terrible, imagine no blanks in the bunk bed and the owner wants me to sleep there. I told her I won't sleep there, it is not going to happen! She went to another bed, took one plank out and put inside my bed and she told now it is stable, which I ended up sleeping on the floor.

Summary: REALLY BAD! I had my worst experience in Split, which it is a wonderful place, this hostel ruined my vacation.
1. I had to pay only 13 Euro more, instead, she charged me for 19 Euro, said it is cleaning fee which didn't mention on the website. And when I asked around, everyone paid differently.
2. There are almost no planks in the bunk bed! And she told me it is safe to sleep on the top, and during the night, one girl literally fell from the bed, at the end, all of us slept on the floor!
3. it is dirty, and cold shower, no locks in the showers
4. the whole family is living on the balcony during the night, the curfew is at 11pm, since they are sleeping at there.
5. When I look from outside, I saw this hostel is written ''hostel Ana'' but the true is they just keep changing the name to keep running it, I booked under the name ''apartment Toni'' but I guess they changed again because I can't find it anywhere.

I had my worst experience there

I booked a room for some of my colleagues for 2 nights, in hope that the closeness to city core will be a bonus, but the benefit was very small considering the room was like a 1988. Gulag prison cell, just without bars and guards... steel beds like in army bunk, and one toilet on the floor ... as Edgar Alan Poe once said,... Nevermore!
