Hotel Le Griffon

After being disappointed by other establishments in the area, my colleague found La Licorne and it is now our preferred pace to stay in Abidjan. The rates are very reasonable for Abidjan. The hotel is beautifully decorated with lovely garden and areas to relax outside, including a pool. With the business of Abidjan, it is a very relaxing haven to come to at night. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Staff is attentive and very friendly: for example, on the first night I asked for a cup of hot water for tea. When I got to my room the next evening, I found a kettle there! We also tried the restaurant for dinner and the food was delicious. The hotel is however, within walking distance of a number of restaurants, a supermarkets and banks. The wifi works very, very well. Plenty of plugs available to charge all your electronic goodies. Worth a visit and a stay
