I stayed in this hotel for 1 week late in March 2014. I stayed in room #8 and it was the perfect size for a solo traveler. I had space to store my bags that did not interfere with space to move around in. The bed was comfortable, they brought fresh sheets and towels daily, and there was hot water!!!!! The family who runs the place is extremely friendly and eager to help. I did not speak any Spanish and they did not speak any English but thanks to the free WIFI I was able to use the Google translate app on my phone and that solved all communication issues. The hotel is one block away from the edge of the town which over looks the whole valley and the entrance to the Camino Real hiking trail that leads to Guane. It is also only 2 blocks from the main town square. Next time I am in Barichara I will not hesitate to stay here again.
