we spent almost two weeks here, I stayed at better hotels  but a lot more expensive.
I wish I could rate the staff greater than 5 Stars. the maid even arranged my computer cables. Most nights we got a turn down service, Once they knew my wife liked Ice in the room., it showed up without us asking ( NO  Ice Machines in China that we found)

The breakfast buffet they offered was great

Yes I would definitely recommend the garden International

Had a fantastic stay on the 10th floor. Breakfast in the executive lounge each morning. We were travelling with our 2 year old son, and nothing was too much trouble. The staff were very generous and accomodating,spending a lot of time entertaining our son, they even bought him some soft toys, and balloons. Very helpful advice about site seeing, and staff assited us to arrange a private chauffered car for the duration of our stay. The room was of excellent quality, had 130 tv channels, including many english/american channels. The beds are VERY firm, but this is the norm in China.

Actually more than I expected, the room was a normal sized room and it was clean and very nice. No strange smells or mold to worry about and the service was quite good and they spoke English. This was my first time in China and some of the hotels I stayed at were small and cramped and even the rooms that were in "nice" hotels were not up to western standards.

Executive Floor - Brilliant with Young Children

A nice upscale Hotel

This is a 4-star hotel that should be a 2-star. The carpet was truly disgusting--it was that filthy. And the bathroom mirror was badly cracked. The hotel advertises a service that they cannot deliver: a gymnasium. We inquired as to its location and were led into the dark bowels of the hotel. There, we found one treadmill, which could NOT be plugged in. (We went for a walk instead.) The breakfast buffet was fine. One night was our limit at this hotel.
