I stayed at this property for the first time this week. It really is a beautiful environment and unlike any other hotel I have stayed at while in China. A great break from the typical western hotels. The hotel is located in a roughly 400 year old estate. It has a complete village built around it with a lake, bridges, etc. Very quiet and scenic. The only warning is that I would not recommend visiting this hotel in the winter. The heat in the rooms is difficult to control due to the age of the buildings. Also the breakfast restaurant is heated but they don't close the doors so you will need to wear a coat for breakfast.
