It's back packer accommodation which we had stayed for 3 nights. 

We accidentally stayed here due to the room we have booked & confirmed at Mei Mei hostel was not available in the morning we are flying to Hongkong due to computer error, as the email said, they offer us sister property called Rome Hotel, we have no choice but agree to take the offer. 

After 3 flight of stairs, we arrived, luckily I only have cabin bags. Walking up and down the stairs is no good for those who have arthritis like me.

Just like any other budget accommodation in Hongkong, the room is tiny but what we do not know is the wall is so thin, that, you hear almost everythings outside the room such people chatting, sometimes rather long & loud, the constant bell sound, as the  entrance is always locked, people having shower or even just the tap running plus the noise from the rat running around in the ceiling. These happen days & nights.

The toilet needs to be flushed by water from the bucket if you use it.

The plus side is the wifi is free & strong, hot water available & TV is watchable if you  understand Chinese, close to mtr & shops.

Though the hostel keeper is approachable even without speaking a word of English, I will not recommend anyone to stay here. 

Worse Hotel

We got what we've paid. I know, but i can find other convenient hostel better than this. I stayed for 3 nights after Mei Mei hostel staff sent us to this place. No option, because we've already paid, and if we're show up at the hostel, booking.com still charged us. That's not fair. Rome hotel located in a center Mongkok, in a 3rd level of the building. No lift, so we have to climb and bring our luggage through the stairs to reach the hostel. Even the staff is friendly, she couldn't speak english. What a terrible. The place was very noisy and annoying, because the wall was very thin. We can hear someone talking all the time, door bell ringing all the time, water tap and many other distracting sound. The mattres was so hard and the tv channel only provide chinese language. The staff clean the room everyday and very strick that we have to check out at 11  am. The toilet is so tiny and we can not flush, they just provide a timber to flush the toilet. It's totally worst place. Just find another hostel!  Tempat ini sangat tidak layak u tuk ditempati, ukuran kamar hostel yang sangat sempit, jadi satu dengan toilet tanpa flush, sehingga tiap kali BAB atau BAK menggunalan ember untuk menyiram. Staf tidak bisa bahasa inggris tapi ramah. Keunggulan tempat ini hanya lokasinya yang strategis dekat MTR mongkok dan wifinya yang kencang.
