What a gem of a place this is. A gorgeous cabin with a wood fired hot tub in the middle of nowhere, with views over the lake (just. The trees do block a lot of the view). 

We stayed for four nights and it was a wonderful break. 

The hosts are lovely people and extremely helpful. 

I’ve only knocked a star off as there wasn’t much cutlery and what was there was a little bit random. 

Would definitely stay again and highly recommend. Go and enjoy the peace, quiet and tranquility.

Lovely gem of a place.

We stayed one night at "Cabins over Crag" after a long drive from Watson Lake, YT. There are two cabins for rent and since we were traveling with another couple, we rented both cabins which are next to each other and about 100 yards downhill from the owners house. The owners indicated that the cabins were going to be their "retirement income" and had recently had them built on their property. Positives: The cabins are new, very private, spacious and "modern rustic". There is also a place to barbecue outside and a kitchen in which to cook, but to take advantage of these, one would need to stay more than one night. Negatives: We stayed in the cabin which has the bed in a loft upstairs and the toilet downstairs--which means to use the toilet during the middle on the night, one must negotiate going down and then back up very steep stairs--maybe not a problem for those in their 30's, but certainly a problem for many in their late 60's. Also--the cabin owners are also the owners and authors of the brochure "The Last Great Road Trip" which is commonly found for free at all of the Visitor Centers and other places in the Yukon. While checking in, we discussed this brocure at length with cabin owner Krystal--who was obviously very proud of it's publication--and advised her we had two copies of it with us in our car. But only after we had checked out of the cabins the next day and were back on the road did we discover that on page 1 of the brochure was a $50 (Canadian) coupon for a one night stay at Cabins Over Craig. After our lengthy discussion with Krystal about the brochure, it would have been nice if she had told us about the coupon--something she clearly knew about but didn't share with us--at the time we checked in and paid. As is was, we felt "hoodwinked" by the owner.

Stop 7--BPTH 2019 ALCAN Highway trip

Everything was wonderful. Great views, amenities and service. I was shocked that there was strong WiFi service in the rural Yukon but that was great too. Krystal checked on us frequently and made sure we never had to ask for anything. Greg was very helpful during the booking process. It is a must for anyone driving the Al-Can.

Exactly what we were hoping for

This is the place to stay when visiting the Carcross/ Whitehorse region of the Yukon.
Krystal and her husband Greg create a cozy and well appointed cabin that overlooks Cragg Lake. It offers a full service kitchen with a loft bedroom. You're private Cabin has light filled windows, a comfortable queen bed, and a great Hot Shower. Krystal and her son, Oscar, showed us her property with all of the exciting new expansion plans including a glamping tent, and a future woodland campground. This family is living the dream and understands what true hospitality and kindness means! Only wish we could have stayed longer!

Wonderful Hosts and Spectacular Location

Beautiful well-equipped cabins 10 minutes from Carcross and close to some of the best hikes around the area.  Great hosts, full of interesting tales and tips.  Could have stayed much longer than our 2 nights!  Carcross is a hidden gem of Yukon!

Luxury cabins at mid-range price

Clean, comfortable with a wonderful view of Craig Lake, Yukon. Fully equipped kitchen with all the kitchen supplies you will ever need. The bed was very comfortable and the shower worked great. I would stay again. I had a relaxing evening and a great sleep. 

Wonderful Stay

We stayed for one night and it was great! The cabins were clean and modern - had everything you needed besides the food. Beautiful fireweed outside the cabin, a fire pit and picnic table. They also had an extensive movie collection. The hosts, Greg and Krystle were great and made sure we were well taken care of. A black bear came close to us while playing cards at the picnic table in the evening...we phoned Greg and Krystle and they came right down with their dog, ensured bear was gone , showed us how to use the bear bangers and bear spray and even left their dog with us for the night. They really went above and beyond! I would recommend these cabins and definitely would stay here again. Thanks Greg and Krystle!

Great time! 

Three of us rented a cabin over a weekend and had a great time.  The location is a short drive to Carcross, which was our destination for 2 days of mountain biking.  The biking is superb, and Carcross was great - for such a small town, it was a pleasant surprise to find good beer on tap at the Bistro. 
Greg and Krystal were wonderful hosts at the Crag Lake cabins, they made us feel at home and proved to be a lot of fun.
Roger the raven paid us a visit, and enjoyed some of our trail mix.
Great memories from a short visit, I hope to return.
