The owner Michel, almost as soon as we arrived,  sat with us and helped us plan out our whole week of attractions. Advising us (from a locals point of view) the easiest ways to get around the city, where to park, etc.   Breakfast was always a surprise and presented with foods shaped like different animals. His favourite seemed to be a butterfly. Always a good meal to start our day and on very lucky days, Michel would treat us to a song with his very pleasant voice . The bedroom was tastefully decorated, a very  comfortable bed, a patio to sit and watch the ships and birds using the St. Lawrence river.. and if you weren't tired out from the days activities, a walking path was right outside his door, with people using it constantly.. It was our first visit to a B and B and michel has really set the bar high for the next one we try.  If there was anything that I would have changed, it would be the small spiral staircase leading up to the bedroom. But if you could walk up the steps, Michel was right behind you carrying your luggage. Would definitely go back if I was in the area again.

a week of relaxation

We totally enjoyed our two nights in late November in this unique and delightful B&B on the shores of the St. Lawrence River. Our nights were totally peaceful. Our host greeted us upon arrival and made us feel more like friends than B&B guests, he is a pleasure to converse with. We will never forget the exquisite breakfasts that were prepared for us. Our host was most attentive to my wife's severe food allergies. When we left, we felt like we were saying goodbye to a friend and we look forward to our return!

Unique and Delightful

We stayed two nights with Michel, who is a wonderful and very warming host. He gave us very useful information what to see and to do. The bedroom is very nice with a  great view overlooking the St Lawrence River. The breakfast was very good and we had really interesting talks in the morning with Michel. We can highly recommend this b+b.

Very nice and quiet B+B

Michel was the perfect host, providing us with very useful information about the area. The bedroom was up a small spiral staircase, and theview was looking over the St Lawrence River. Breakfast was outstanding, sitting on the patio overlooking the river.
