Had a lovely stay at this little motel after a very disappointing one at the neighbouring Ruby Lake Resort.  The manager was very accommodating and hospitable, and even accompanied my daughter and I for a short time by the on-site fire pit at my request (I was too scared to be there on my own with my daughter due to the possibility of seeing their resident bear, Bruno, who, much to the sadness of my daughter, never made an appearance - they described him as a large, scared raccoon).  The private spa was very relaxing, and the room was very sweet.

Family owned feeling. Great equipment with kitchen incl Krug coffee maker 😀. Garden/Outside very nicely done/kept. There are also fire/grill opportunities. 

Good location if on the way down back to Vancouver. 6-7 km away from Ruby lake. We would def stay here again!

We were your happiest guests. You allowed us to prepare an evening salad from your beautiful garden. Everything was great and more than expected. Your hospitality was extremely welcoming. Please accept our thanks. This was a beginning and you will see us more.

Great time

I would give Stonewater Motel and Terry and her staff 6 stars of I could. Without a doubt the best motel stay I have ever had. The rooms are  sparkling clean and the grounds  are spacious and extremely sell kept. Lots of parking and the units each has a nice deck. The rooms has everything a person would need. The kitchen is well stocked with coffees,,tea, dishes, pots and pans and a full size stove. It is close to all the sights and venues in Pender Harbour. 
 If you ever get a chance to stay here you will not be disappointed. It is truly a treat!

A wonderful experience!

We were referred by the gentleman at the Grasshopper Liquor store. We were so grateful to find such a great place after a very long day. Sitting on the deck listening to the birds looking at the lush flowers was a Perfect way to set the mood for sleeping. Never heard a thing throughout the night. Bed so comfy, everything so clean. Will come back if given the opportunity.

Peaceful setting 

I have always had a very comfortable overnight stay at the Stonewater and have stayed there a half dozen times or so. This place was recommended to me by a friend who is very particular about accommodations.  I have never been disappointed during any of my many visits to the Stonewater. Both their motel suites and the tiny campground area are very clean, comfortable, and quiet.  The mattresses are comfy, the bedding is soft, no chemical smells anywhere even though every inch of the suites including the kitchen is impeccably clean.  The host, Terry, is personable and she is an animal lover so pets are quite welcome at the Stonewater.

Wonderful small motel on the Sunshine Coast!

My wife and myself  had missed the last ferry from Earl's Cove on the  Sechelt Peninsula and were not looking forward to spending the night in the car at the ferry terminal. A great guy by the name of Dave at the Pender Harbour Hotel phoned the Stonewater for us at 11:15  pm. Even at that late hour, the girl at the desk was friendly and welcoming although I'm sure she would rather have been in bed. The room, with kitchenette, was spotless and was the best motel experience we had over our summer travels. Thanks again Stonewater!

A welcome place to be.

Came in out of the blue for work , very freindly staff .
Very accomodating and helpful , quite little place just off the highway .
Reasonable price , room was really nice , clean and comfortable , recomend this place to anyone , such a nice place :)

Such a nice place 

Clean, good price for the area, close to local tourist sites and amenities!  We stayed here for three nights with several other family members as a part of a small family reunion.  The hotel is well maintained and has what one needs, including a couple of spots for an evening gathering by a fire. The staff are friendly and accommodating.  My husband is in a wheelchair, and while not fully accessible, a couple of the rooms have enough space for a wheelchair to move around.  One needs to take a few steps to manage the washroom because the entry is narrower.  Outside, we used our portable ramp to manage the few exterior stairs; this work very well.  The kitchenette was very clean with loads of complimentary coffee and tea.  Some rooms had microwaves; our room did not.  Family members who camped found the sites large and clean, and nicely set back from the main hotel.

The ease of making a reservation at the Stonewater Motel was outstanding... friendly and efficient. When we arrived, I was very pleased to see that the venue was all that I had expected from viewing their website... and even MORE.  This facility is sparkling clean and well-equipped, both in its rooms (bedroom, kitchenette, bathroom) and in the well-organized areas outside, including parking and storage areas to contain garbage and to sort recyclables. It is a most peaceful setting with well groomed gardens and surrounded by tall trees. The separate entrances to the units provided privacy for accessing them and for using the sundecks. The provision of 2 types of coffee making machines and the array of Keurig choices for coffees, tea, and hot chocolate was exceptionally plentiful. Tammy (Tami?) was a wonderful host right from the start of making our reservation for three nights until the time we departed. She was friendly and attentive to our needs. I enjoyed my stay here more than at any major, 5-star, chain motel I've attended in my 80 years on this Planet!
