Service was good, bathroom was not the greatest! It was an alright experience overall!

It was good, had a pleasant stay and would return if needed.

We didn’t stay at all. The manager was nowhere to be found and everything was locked up. I have already reported this disaster to Hotels.com. This hotel should be de-listed.

Disaster

All Good. No staff available upon check in but a simple phone call got us the code to the room and we settled in. Room was clean and comfortable with fridge and microwave. Beds were comfortable.

This is a very nice and clean hotel, inexpensive and close to everything.The owner is very friendly. It is next to the famous historical red covered bridge.

When I arrived the motel manager jerry met me with a hand shake and showed me to my room. He also was very helpful in giving me directions for places that I wanted to see in Fort Coulonge.

Polite and Pleasing

This basic, very clean, easy to find small roadside hotel is a good option when in the Fort Coulonge area looking for a budget motel. 
Our room had two comfortable double beds for a rate of $75/ night. 
The bathroom was basic but very clean with a tub and shower, toilet, sink and vanity with a large mirror on the wall at the sink. There was no cabinet for storage. Two washcloths, and two bath towels hung on towel bars. A hand towel was laid out on the vanity beside the sink with two small packaged soaps and two packets of shampoo. The towels were very thin and a little dingy, clean but not bright white. There was no hair dryer.

The main room had a long counter on which stood a bar-sized working fridge. We placed our suitcase on the remaining open area of the counter. On the wall above the fridge hung the small flat screen TV. It too was in good working order and got several channels. The wifi also worked well. 
There were bedside lamps and no other main room lighting. There is no microwave or coffee maker.
The large window had a small bottom square window with a screen that we opened for fresh air upon arrival as the room smelled a little stale. There was a coat rack and a mat at the door. The room was carpeted. A NO SMOKING sign reminded users that smoking is not permitted. Heat and air conditioning are controlled from a unit near the window.
The door locks are number coded entry and upon arrival you phone the manager to get your room number, lock entry code and the wifi code.   
Although the motel is right on the highway it is set back from the road enough that we found noise was not a problem. The soundproofing seems very good. I only heard the rumble of loud motorcycles  once, and in the morning, a young child in the parking lot. 
This small hotel has only 10 rooms. It is right across the road from the Landmark red covered bridge, Marchand Bridge and is just a few kilometres down the road from Fort Coulonge.



A Basic and very Clean Roadside Motel

We're happy with our stay.  We were looking for a cheap and easy place to stay on our journey and this fit the bI'll    It is exactly what you'd expect from the pictures.  Nothing fancy but clean.  Towels were a bit worn but again, clean.  You do have to call to get your code to get in as there isn't always someone in the office.  Friendly small town.

We booked a 2 double bed room. When we got there there was only a double bed and a single bed.  So one of my sons had to sleep on the floor. Not impressed

There was no there to let us in. You had to call for your password that punch in at key pad at your room door. We thought there was a microwave and bar fridge the freezer door was broken. So if you had any problems with your room no one could assist you. The room however was very clean.
