Linda and James are genuinely pleasant people who really made me feel right at home. I stayed in the West Room which has double bed and some lovely antique furnishings.  I found the room to be quite spacious and the bed very comfortable.  The sitting room upstairs was a great place to catch up on some reading.

Unfortunately, I arrived well after dark and the next day it was cold and raining.  So I did not get the opportunity to enjoy their lovely garden and yard.  I will, however, the next time I visit the area.

A Very Welcoming Place to Stay

This B & B is a short drive to Cobourg Beach (5 mins) and that's why we stayed here.  It was very easy to find, right off Hwy 2 although do note that the signage isn't very good and if you don't notice it, you will drive right by like I did the first time.

Hosts are a very nice elderly couple who we very nice and friendly.

Breakfast was okay, nothing special in my opinion.  You could request eggs/bacon, otherwise you are defaulted with toast, cereal and some fruit along with coffee or tea.  You have the option to eat indoors or outside.

The setting is very nice, with a little pond and garden in the front.  Note that the accommodations are for a shared washroom.  This is okay if you are alone or don't happen to clash, but for us, when we woke up, we were taking turns using the washroom with the other guests there.  Also, there is no TV but there is free wifi.  While this wasn't an issue for us, it may be for others.

Personally, we had no issue with the stay and based on requirements, I'd recommend it to others.

Nice short stay

Spent one night in this wonderful B&B.  The owners, Linda and James, are great! They make you feel right at home and both are super easy to talk to. You almost feel like you are with family, truly a home away from home! 

The room was comfortable with one single and one double bed.  There is a shared bathroom down the hall.    

The breakfast was hearty and delicious with lots of great choices (even gluten-free choices!) from organic fruits, to eggs, cheese, breads, coffee, yummy homemade jams and more.

The lined trees and grounds around the house make for a nice peaceful, serene stay. If the weather allows it, I suggest you sit outside on the porch or in the garden overlooking the lily pad pond to eat, read or for some down time :-)

A quiet home-away-from-home stay!

My friend and I were looking for a place to stay overnight during Cobourg's annual waterfront festival. We were so lucky to find this B&B. Linda and Jams were welcoming. The house is off the beaten track just outside of Cobourg on Highway 2, and is easily accessible from town by car or bike. The beds were comfortable and clean. Our room had one double bed and one single bed. The room is nicely decorated and very homey/nostalgic. Although we could hear the traffic from the highway and the odd train horn, we both slept very well. 

if you are particular about the quality of the food you eat, then this place is perfect for you! James and Linda post a list of breakfast offerings for guests to choose from on the website, we chose what we wanted, and we were not disappointed. We decided to eat outside on the side deck. We sat comfortably shaded from the sun as we sipped delicious organic coffee, ate a delicious breakfast, admired humming birds, and chatted with our hosts. 

The grounds around the house are very nice, and by the pond is a lovely place to wander and/or sit. 

A nice touch for me was the organic soap and shampoo!

A Cozy and Comfortable place to stay!

This B&B is located on Hwy 2 just east of Cobourg. It is a turn of the century brick home with two nice rooms located on the second floor.  The rooms are well appointed and the beds are very comfortable with nice linens.

Breakfast was very good and the owners are so nice, a good place to stay when in the area.
